- This three-part video will hep you prepare for your Grade 9 Mathematics Paper 1. The revision covered in this video is for Mathematics November 2022 Paper 1.

In this video the following concepts are covered:
-number patterns and how to find the nth term (Tn) of the pattern
-number patterns and how to use the formula to further calculate given questions
-understanding flow diagrams (input and output values). This involves substitution
-algebraic expressions (understanding the coefficient of x and arranging the expression in descending order
-expanding an algebraic expression using foil method
-simplifying algebraic expression fraction using factorisation and difference of two squares and the pre-knowledge
-understanding the gradient and y-intercept from a given equation of a line
-understanding the calculations involving the x-intercept and y-intercept
-sketching / plotting of straight line graphs given two points and using the table metho
-finding the equation of a straight line given three points that a collinear.

Your answer to question 7.3 at 40:22 is incorrect. The whole question in the paper is actually incorrect. If you plot the 3 points, they do not form a straight line. They actually form a triangle, meaning there are three separate equations. y=3x +3, y=5/4x+3 and y=3/8x+5/4. The answer sheet actually says the gradient is 3/8 and the equation is y=3/8x +3 which is an impossible answer.
