I have been kayak fishing for over 8 years but have learned so much about different kayaks from your videos. It can be difficult to arrange a test paddle of a kayak you want to buy but anyone can watch your review which is the next best thing. (Maybe better because of your experience) So keep up the good work and I encourage viewers to buy through your links. In regard to the Pelican I like the seat but prefer by Viking Profish GT - easier to paddle.

Started with this kayak last year , it now has a 30 lb thrust , PWM , foot steering , hds7 and just put a lss2 scupper mounted. I like the new upgraded seat .

I guess I never thought about it but it looks like fish finders will tell the MPH without hooking up the transducer? Often times I leave the fish finder at home when trolling familiar areas because I already know where I am going to go and how deep I will run. But knowing trolling speeds when the bite gets hot is always nice.

I don't get why I keep getting this comment of you shouldnt launch in front of them... We were talking before I launched they were fishing all over the lake
I've owned the c120 for two years now. I've noticed that it is easier to paddle in the upper most position.
The c120 doesn't track very well during paddles of any length. It's a constant battle to keep it straight. Going to add a skeg to correct this.
Def paddles better in high seating, I'm gonna add the rudder for sure

Alex I have that paddle you are using in this video. I am thinking of getting a bending branches whisper to replace it. Do you have any opinions on switching to the bending branches whisper paddle vs the pelican paddle??
Nooo way!! The whisper is a aluminum paddle! Fiberglass is way better, I don't see how much better the fiberglas angler from bending branches would be, I had one and I like this one better, able to telescope and measuring tape and all

Hi Alex ! Pelican 120 catch is made in two parts, is it bad or doesn't it matter?
Two parts melted together, the section were they meet is stronger than the rest, so yeah it matters it makes for a better stronger built kayak!
Hey Aliex, i just picked up two new pelican catch 130 hd's and i ordered a cheap 40 dollar dolly but it doesnt seem to fit the shape of the hull. Is there any dolly you would recommend that is a little cheaper than the one in the video that would work?
That's the thing with the inexpensive dollys, they don't quite work well, you can diy one but in the end it is best to invest on something good like the ctug

@@elanbenyosef970 I had the same issues. The best cart I have found that seems to fit all kayaks is the Wilderness Systems Heavy Duty Cart.
I probably have the same one you are talking about, I found the best way to use it is on the bow of the boat.
I will definetly check it out. I wish pelican made one for their new line of kayaks.

If you get the bixpy system it comes with the battery that allows you to run both the motor and the bixpy but if you don't need a bixpy, the energized Outdoors 10ah hour batter will be a better deal

The 100 is too short to be that stable, gotta get a bigger boat or a wider one

@@AliexFolgueira i wasn't complaining. just found it weird launching right by some guys fishing while there was noticeable spaces to the right of them from what was captured on your camera. Hence the smiley face ;).. I wanted to see these lighter yaks in a little bit choppier waters to see if they handle bay waters well.
