I agree with all of the comments below. I almost forgot that I had this carpet cleaner since I have had to rely on commercial clanering while I was enduring a long recuperation. After a longer time than anticipated, I got feeling so much better that I decided to see if I still had this little trusty beast. I finally found it stored away. Thankfully it was well-cleaned after last use! The only problem was that I wasn't completely certain how to use it once again. Your video was a life-saver! Very well done! Thank you! P.S. Thought I'd throw this in for dramatic effect --- had my 80th birthday in January and finally feeling great!

I used my Hoover Vac a lot (unfortunately the spring in the handle broke recently), but I want to add that I go over the whole carpet again with clear water to rinse the carpet. With so much concentrate in the first wash it's a good idea, because dirt will cling to the carpet faster if not rinsed out. And, I personally use less concentrate. But good job on the video. That's exactly how I do it. Afterwards, I remove the brush from the vac and clean it for the next shampooing.

Ok, so no power to the tool is a suction problem. I don't have anything in the video and I think we tossed out our old scrubber a while back, but focus on the connection point at the hose. If I recall correctly, the seal there can get split and cause issues. You need to ensure you're getting a good connection there before any of the tools will work.
