Yes I use to do this all the time when I lived in the middle of cannada when my dad was ststioned there sith the usa airforce no oceans so I took my smaller surf board to the river whdre it had some fast mkving white water rapids and used thst to keep my surfing skills sharp cause we was inly going to be in cannada for 7 years then we moved back to the gulf coast of Alabama and never lpst my surfing skills actually got better at surfing
@@jonathanherren1117 Id ask the whitewater rafting scene in your area if theres any "play waves", youtube for videos of rafters floating rivers in your area and figure out what CFS is needed for each wave you identify. Arkansas should have enough water and rock to create waves. Be careful, a small river wave can be gnarlier than it looks.

How’d you find waves in the rivers? I’m in Arkansas and there’s a lot of rivers but I don’t know what to look for.
