Crosby never sounded better. It is a shame that he never recorded this song. This is the next best thing. I haven't heard this in years but the memory of Bing's performance is so strong. Thanks so much for posting!!!
My first Pin Up boy! I remember listening to his radio programmes duting WW2 "When the Blue of the Night" was the opener. and I was very tiny. A great Crooner. George and Gracie were huge favourites on TV in the 50s
A little vehicle to promote The Big Broadcast...The Paramount on Parade featurette series, popular in the 30's, and bringing that studio's stars to movie houses nationwide. Great persuaded.
Bing had a fantastic voice during those early years, a sound perfectly honed for the then burgeoning popular ballad brought to the masses via radio.

When ever I hear the name George Burns I always think of a middle age old man. Its hard to picture Beorge as a younger man.

Ha look at Jolson's bathing suit!
At least Bing didn't drunkenly vomit all over the microphone. (this time)
