Planespotting Frankfurt-Hahn | BIG Plane SOUND: IL-76, AN-124 sliding, Egypt AF C-130, PU A346...

- Dear friends,
back in Frankfurt-Hahn. We came a few times during the last weeks - especially for Volga-Dnepr and Antonov AN-124. Impressive planes. Mostly we had very good lightning conditions in beautiful morning or evening sunlight. What we like in HHN ist the pure sound - no autobahn or other things (If you know Frankfurt Airport FRA you know what I mean).
A few highlights:
- Volga-Dnepr IL-76 performing a perfect landing and nice taxing in the evening.
- Egyptian Air Force C-130 departing with crosswind directly into our camera
- Plus Ultra A340 departing in golden morning fog - it looked like a sandstorm somehow....
- Silk Way West 747-8 morning departure - one of the best overhead shots
- Antonov Airlines An-124 landing during crosswind and sliding after touchdown

One thing I'm trying to understand about the Antonov planes. There are a few AN'124s flying. But the AN-225...Theres only one. A second one sits in a hangar in the Ukraine about 60-70% complete and has been sitting like this for decades. I think they use it for spare parts.
The thing is though..that AN225 generates a TON of $$$ (millions) hauling freight that cant be hauled by any other plane in the world by far!
So shouldn't it behoove Antonov to take some of the revenue generated and put it into finishing the second plane and maybe building a 3rd, in order to create a small fleet of huge planes that can do what no other planes can come close to doing.
@@patrickmollohan3082 In short they couldn't, can't and won't be able built AN 225. They don't have technology, engineers and at least money. The plane was build in USSR and a lot of factories did it. Aircraft landing gear at one place, wings another place etc. In the end it was collected in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic because there was head office. They just use this plane as inherit of huge country. Therefore the second aircraft fuselage of plane has been staying for 30 years without any changes. Same for AN 124.

There are lots of really good shots here, but just to point out a couple that I liked.
The shot of the Atlas 747 just nosing past the Il76 at about 1.52
And the following beautiful shot of the Sky Gates 747 catching the setting sun on its flank at 2:09, that little bit is stunning, the light lays beautifully on it for a couple of seconds 👍👍
And then the nice long shot of the Silk Way 747 appearing and coming towards us down the runway. Very nice.

Wir verwenden 2x die Sony RX10 IV und schneiden in Adobe Premiere Pro. Wir nutzen kein Gimbal, Stativ o.ä.
@@FRAproductions Faszinierend - echt nicht schlecht! Hätte ich so nicht erwartet! Respekt - und allzeit gutes Licht - werde mal öfters hier vorbeischauen denn es sind wirklich Kristallscharfe Aufnahmen!

Als ich damals vor einiger Zeit meine Begeisterung über deine Flugzeug Videos zum Ausdruck gebracht habe , bekam ich eine bescheidene Antwort zurück, in der es hieß, dass es noch viele andere Gute themenbezogene Kanäle gibt.
So also..... mein Fazit: Nein, das stimmt nicht. Meiner Meinung nach sind deine Aufnahmen bzw. Videos unschlagbar. Danke und weiter so, am Besten natürlich ohne Kameraknattern als Nebenbeigeräusch.
