I'll admit, it's not that smart people make it to be. Yes, it is not. why? He's around six, I assume, and at that age indian children are already being taught B1 English, all the words there fall under the B1 category, not the entire word, but if you are atleast B2 in english, you'd know that it's just made up of simpler words, pneumo, ultra, microscopic (which can further be divided into micro and scopic), silico, volcano and coniosis, while words like pneumo and coniosis might not be known by the vast majority of kids his age, the rest are, and they can spel them too, and for the 2 difficult words, they can be very well known by the smarter kids of his age, and at this point it's just remembering 6 (7 if you split up micro and scopic) simple words in order and spelling them, which I admit, is difficult the first time you hear this word.
