Bit confused as to difference between this rod (rated to cast upto 150g) and Gurus A class heavy feeder rod rated to only 90g - are the rods similar and which is more suited to long distance bream fishing on reservoirs please
Got to disagree slightly on that I’m afraid. A good angler needs a good rod to obtain maximum performance. A poor rod for the task in hand is a handicap. Top golfers as an example have their clubs tailor made to be better than the average. And that’s why the best rods are usually dictated by price unfortunately. Seems like the rod here might break the mould though in that regard.

Should imagine if braid was used for this test you would have been able to cast well beyond 100 metres

Of course it would cast that far...it's more about the capabilities of the angler than the gear!

It's all Chinese tat that they are using here they pay like 12 quid a rod the reels are like 8 quid each
