You can make the Plasma Destructor a Keel weapon and put in the notes that it's disabled on a dorsal crit.

I think the plasma destructor is a plasma bombardment cannon aka longer range same or similar profile. This would mean no bombardment cannons.

For the boarding rules you could steal the MoK. Double BV. And/or give them a +1 on their chance to cause crits in boarding.
