There is a much simpler and accurate trick .
Just note down the number of triangles on the base of the lowest line and follow the progression adjacent to the numbers and then add all + alternate numbers on the progression side 10 and 3(skip alternate from bottom 15,6 and 1) works on all similar questions

4-10(6+4)
5-15(10+5)
Now we are count only
1+3+6+10+15=35
Now select 10+3=13
So 35+13=48
