The driver is my wife. She passed the test in first attempt. Despite being nervous she tried to stay calm and complete the test. I’m proud of her. The examiner was actually friendly after the test. He even complemented her driving skills.

Pass mine on the 17th. It's my 1st try also with 10hr. driving exp... Yes just stay calm, pay attention and control your speed. If you are worried about parallel, reverse, or regular parking. I suggest use a hatchback.

My anxiety gets so bad I literally cause myself physical pain and it’s a problem. im extremely nervous for tomorrow because I feel like they’re gonna ask me questions about buttons inside the car and I’m gonna have no clue and get failed. Had 2 minor mistakes, one for getting the “parking uphill” question wrong and the other for messing up a three point too cuz I got careless/confident when I had no reason. This isn’t the channel I watched that I feel helped me tho, I really like ACC Driving School because i’m in Florida and live right next to broward. Good luck! I hope you don’t have nearly as much stress as I did lol

Hey guys I passed my test first try! Remember to look on what’s going to be on the test prior to the test so you can make sure you know everything. I was super nervous at first but once I got in the vehicle I just did what the guy told me to do and I was done in 5 minutes! You got this!!
Its been a long time coming (about 5 years), but i'm finally taking my first driving test tomorrow morning. This channel- and other helpful car channels like it, has helped so much in making me feel prepared for my test. I am greatly appreciative of all the hard work that goes into RTS. I took the driving test in Illinois today and I was extremely nervous to the point where I almost left the dmv. I knew I was already a good driver but sitting in the dmv waiting was making me more nervous. But as soon as I got into the car my nerves were completely gone and it just felt like a normal drive with the examiner telling where to turn, etc. if anyone feels nervous for their test, that’s normal and I can bet as soon as you step into the drivers seat your nerves will disappear! Especially if you know your already a good driver. With that being said the Illinois driving test is extremely easy and practically a joke to most place’s because you don’t do any difficult maneuvers only really uphill and downhill parking and maybe a 3-point turn depending but most of the time not. Anyways don’t feel nervous and just breathe, what gave me the best motivation was thinking of where I could go as soon as I got my license. Good luck to whoever is about to take the test!

At least she passed her exam. I know the examiner could have been more patient with her especially at the end, but I guess he didnt want her to hold up traffic when she was parking. I understand both the student and examiner where the driver is trying her best, but the examiner wants her to keep it moving. This reminded me of the examiner from 2 years ago where he told the lady if she made any mistakes on the examin she will fail. I know it can be annoying if the examiner doesnt understand the moves you are trying to do on the road especially if you are trying your best to be safe. Overall, driving maybe difficult but it is possible, which is faith. Please dont make driving difficult and impossible, which is when the fear and doubt kick in. God Bless.

August 7th, 2023: Yuppp, I retook the driving exam for the second time the day this video was posted and I ended up passing!! I previously took it on June 5th of this year and failed at another DMV (Yup, California here) , I think I let my nerves get to me and drove too quickly and dangerously into the middle left lane turn on a crowded street. This time however, I felt a lot more prepared when taking the exam. I had an extra 2 months to practice and put myself to work to make sure I really know what I am doing during the exam. Hell, I only practiced the DMV route ONCE with my dad the night before i took the exam (Don't recommend doing it so late... get more familiar with the roads than me)
My best advice is to definitely not feel nervous. The more confident and comfortable you are at the moment despite your months of training, the more successful you will be. My advice is to always make sure to do your SMOG check (signal, mirror, over the head, go when safe), know your right of way, be aware of street signs, scan ahead, and make your over the head checks and mirror checks obvious during the exam. (Also check left right left)
All in all, I feel like I did get a little lucky since my instructor was so kind and fair to me. She also gave me some amazing advice at the end of it all which I will remember for future driving sessions. The roads were also quite wide and not as empty this time around too so pick your DMV wisely I'd say.
You guys can do it, I believe in y'all. It's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be if you're CONFIDENT goodluck to everyone!!!!

Listening to how impatient this guy was pissed me off... started watching a few of these videos cause they're kinda funny ngl and cause i took my CDL A road test on the 20th and passed. Reminds me of taking my driving test when i was younger haha.

Overall, I think the instructor was fair blended with being slightly assertive, aggressive, and impatient. He has a friendly tone, but I dont think he had to be technical when she drove over 3 mph the speed limit, which wasnt a big deal. Despite her language barrier, she can drive and did a good job following directions because it was a lot she had to do on the road. She deserved to pass her test because it was as if she took 2 different road test in the same day. I like the examiner, but he has to work on being a tad more patient, but get why he acted the way he did. Overall, he was somewhat tough around the edges, but there have been way more difficult examiners. God Bless.
Yall, I passed with 3 errors. My examiner actually messed up and told me to go left but meant right. I was at a double yellow line on the furthest left already. Freaked me put like hell. But did it!! These video Def helped me learn and felt comfortable about the exam. Thank you so much!!

I just want to thank this channel so much, I’ve been binge watching your videos every time I could, and also practicing on the road. I took my road test today in Winnetka, CA at 9AM. I was the first one! and I PASSED on my first try. Only got docked one point for not stopping behind a limit line. I was a nervous wreck! The instructor saw that but he was very understanding. For anyone reading this, just know that the test is not as bad as we make it to be. It will be over before you know it. Just follow the rules, be alert and you will pass!

I just passed today!! These videos help a lot with nervousness, but remember that nothing can substitute practice. Also, I was anxious for 15-20 minute tests like the ones on these channels, and mine ended up being around 5 minutes haha. Know your roads, signs, and chill out (chewing gum helps with driving anxiety for me) Good luck to everyone!!!

This remembers me of my first auto exam, I failed in a few minutes because the examinating police officer was terrible, at the first engine stall he yelled at me "Turn on the engine!" and the story continued until I stalled the 5th time, he told me the exam was over and I was trully panicated because of him! It took me some time after to calm down!
Past mines first try In October 2022. I’ve then since gained more & more confidence on the road 😅

i finally got my license i been trying to get license more then 5 years failed uncountable times 😢 almost lost hope on that but anyway burned whole lott money and going back and forth to the school was crazy.this time i put some believe on me and ssfelu pass the test if 5 more was gone then had to srart back again.4 or 5 times took the defensive driving class and leaner permit was expired tooo . yall can feel it ,thanx allah finally and afterall

I’m so nervous for mine. I haven’t even taken the written test yet (I am in April) which I have no problem with because I’m pretty good at studying and testing. I know how to drive and have been knowing since I was 15 (I’m 20 almost 21). The only thing is I sometimes let my anxiety get the best of me which causes me to mess up.

i passed on my third attempt, my first time i made a very stupid mistake. My second time, the examiner said I didn't look in my blindspot although I did and marked it as a critical error. My third time, I passed
It feels so weird watching these now that I have my license ever since I passed me a couple of weeks on the 3rd try before going on vacation over the summer before school started for quite a lot of us then again maybe it helped that I had an instructor who was also new to this and needed a another more experienced person and learned some possible routes for the test

While student is preparing to listen for instructions she’s becoming nervous by the the impatient instructor and her child not being supervised by I guess husband whose more interested in videoing the student in the vehicle then watching the unsupervised child‼️How is this student suppose to 👉Relax 🧘♂️ 🚙 and concentrate ‼️She did very well in spite of it all great job👍🏼😊

I just started driving like 2 weeks ago, I got the hang of it in 2 days Driving in LA traffic I just always try my best to have awareness and i try to look in advance where cars and pedestrians might be at. you just have to be calm dont be nervous and be a defensive driver. ( I have like 1 year experience driving a forklift so I don't know if that help me transferring my skills to driving )

So when he was warning her about speeding, technically you can go 5 mph over a posted speed limit right? So if it's 30mph, she can go 35?
No. On road tests, you must follow all posted speed limits. You cannot exceed the posted speed limit by any amount. The 5-10 mph over the speed limit rule is typically for the far left lane on freeways, but again, that does not apply during a road test.
