This Denver team is what the NBA needed and didn't know it. ESPN hates it but I really believe America is going to love this humble and great basketball team. Congratulations on your success and I hope you guys go on a historical dynastic run for the ages!

The fanbase the ESPN has cultivated and tried to chase are the type of people that don't watch basketball.... unless you count Skip Bayless / Stephen A Smith Sports gossip talk shows that incidentally will show some highlights or watching a highlight-reel with cool moves over a hip hop beat.

Dude was an awesome assistant for the warriors back in the day. Happy to see him win it all.
Also was an assistant for the Cavs and LeBron back in the day. The only coach to contain Boogie. Son of an assistant coach on the Detroit Pistons Bad Boys 2 ships. Coach Malone is legit.
Dude started as a high school assistant coach and grinded it out to get where he is. Dude deserves it.

As a nuggets fan for 34 years and how beyond awful we use to be, this by far is incredible. I can’t stop being proud and celebrating. My dad died last year and I can now say dad they finally did it! The nuggets got one!

I was super devastated when Melo wanted out and breaking up a realistic Championship-contending team and taking Chauncey too - this is so unreal - a miracle of God that we got Joker in the 2nd round and when Ujiri (the GM at the time of Melo trade) took everything he could from that Melo trade - we ended up getting Murray as one of the last pieces of that Melo trade. So now I love that Melo trade because it helped birth us our first Championship! You couldn't make this stuff up - this Championship is everything and then some!!!

As a fan since 1994, I was waiting for something to go wrong the entire finals sadly (it's been a learned behavior). It took me seeing Mal crying to actually accept that they had won. I literally broke down in tears, ugly crying and proceeded to rattle off all of the trials that all of the guys had gone through and how they were the island off misfit toys out loud to my lady.

Damn we are lucky in Colorado-coach Malone was a big part of this Nuggets title...no different than coach Bednar with the Avalanche last yr. And while its super early-both teams are odds on favorites in their respective sports for next yr-as we sit here today. Both went on matching dominant 16-4 playoff runs-pretty crazy. Both teams are crazy talented-sure. But their best players are not only superstars-but the right KIND of superstars. Coachable,humble,unselfish,& care deeply bout their teammates,& winning-no James Harden or Kyrie nonsense here. Thats not a coincidence both just won titles.
We just MIGHT be attending a joint Avs/Nugs parade next yr. Very easily couldve already happened-had Murray/MPJ not been hurt the last 2 yrs-or the Avs werent the most injured deffending champ in like 3 decades this yr. But unbelievable experience to be at a Nugs parade-almost exactly 1 yr after attending the Avs parade. And might take a bit-but coach Prime,& coach Peyton will eventually get things turned around at CU,& with the Broncos. No brighter combined futures than with the Avs,& Nuggets in the nhl/nba. And best part is both already climbed the mtn-WHATEVER happens in the future.

Give the PatMac crew credit. They are so positive and curious rather than negative. You can easily see tons of erroneous, ignorant takes that Jokic doesn’t care because of a few of the remarks he made after the win. They were all in jest. He is the “Joker”. The guy plays every game, never takes a night off, lifts weights after every game, has never been to Shotgun Willie’s … he cares more than anyone. This crew finds it funny. They want to learn more. Others not so much. Well done guys.
