I think Son is massively overlooked. He only had two penalties last season yet scored over 200 points. Compare that with Palmer and all his penalties. What are the points totals like with all penalties removed?

Son would have had 15 non penalty goals and 10 assists. So very comparable. Son has been super consistent through the seasons with regular 200+ point finishes. My point is that Son is massively overlooked and when you think his much hype Palmer is getting, and how quiet people are for Son, I think it’s a fair point.

there is a way to do this team like that. I have Watkins, isak and Muniz as my attackers. have son instead of palmer and because of my budget, I have to go with a 7m option like rashford instead of Bruno. if he's not injured, he has a good chance of starting upfront (even with zirkzee) because of hojlunds injury my defense is the same other than having a 4.5 keeper instead of raya
For now I've got a 96% overall team with a 93% GW1 projection (66.5 points) (3-5-2): Sanchez, Robertson, Burn, Gvardiol, Salah (C), Foden, Palmer, Gordon, Eze, Isak (V), and Wood. Bench: Ward, Joao Pedro, Harwood, Faes I feel like this team gives me an easy route to Watkins in GW3 after Villa gets past the Arsenal game. (Gordon and Wood to Watkins and Luongo) and then would switch the formation to a 3-4-3, with Ward, Luongo, Harwood, and Faes on the bench.
@Biscuits645 agreed, it's a concern. I'm just hoping that the likes of Palmer, Foden, etc. can help cover the points should Haaland get a brace, hat trick, etc.

I went with GK: Sanchez-Turner Def: Trent, White, Mylenko, Konsa, Porro Mid: Salah-Nkunku-Palmer-Eze-Winks ST-Isak-Havertz-Jao pedro but if he's injured then Vardy. But I do still have 5 mill left over so I could replace isak with Watkins but I was thinking about waiting until GW 3 for that. Which gave me a 90 rating.
@@PazLeBon I already swapped him since I wrote this comment. It's not a final team, just a draft for now. Swapped Sanchez for Reya, Poro for Gvardiol, White for Guehi and areola in for second keeper. Let's face it though, the team will probably change 5 more times before the league starts 😂

I think the phrase "keep all biases aside" is really key. I just cannot do it, as a fellow Liverpool fan I tried picking the likes of Fernandes and Diego Costa and it just feels awful, particularly when they blank. But I know if I could just ignore all those feelings I would finish FPL maybe hundreds of thousands of places higher than I actually do.

You have to remember the 9 million players didn't make the top 1 million, a popular player is not always the correct player, however Palmer will likely be in my team at some point.
Im surprised that Ladapo doesn't feature in any teams he was on fire last year and looks a good player at the price who will score a few goals this year. check out Utube footage.

Its quite easy to get a 100 with Raya, Robertson gabriel Salah etc. but its not convincing to me. Players like Sanchez, Barco, Nkunku are averaging 0.0,0.8,2.3 points which shows that the squad percentage is inaccurate, up until they start to recalculate the ppm in ffh the percentages and estimated points will change.
That is not the squad I expected to see! Hardly any Arsenal or City players… but what do I know this man’s been at the top! Anyone think Mainoo a good cheap midfield option for £5.5m this year?
They've priced it well this year - far too easy to get 3 City 3 Arsenal last year IMO! Depending on where you expect Mainoo to play who knows he could be decent value!

Shows how much luck is involved 😂. Salah was awful last season and will be this season. He past it. Rest of team is pretty good. But I would change Salah and use the coins for better bench.

Palmer would have still had 13 goals and 13 assists without pens

Palmer isn’t in many drafts purely because of the first fixture. I’ve got Son for GW1. But have left 0.5M in the bank to transfer Palmer in GW2.
