    I truly enjoyed watching, we have about 8 kiddos in the neighborhood that I believe would have a blast making these for their parents. Time to gather them up and go to the dollar store and get those imaginations going:)

    I enjoyed your video very much, as I especially liked your candy cane glass. I think it may have to do with the fact that I have a terrible sweet tooth. I appreciate your sharing and was wondering if you could possibly make a gingerbread video, as I am a gingerbread fanatic. Thanks so much for sharing, and God Bless...

  • @jenniferbellantonio6161

    I love the Snowmen! I'm using scented "CLEAN"! kitty litter for their bodies, it's cheaper and oftentimes scented so it might be more practical than the rice which might attract bugs or critters... I am also adding the yard hat to my snowman's head..

    I really like the ribbon Christmas trees and the hats! So cute! I made my snowmen a bit different then yours. Instead of using the bottom half (because I used the bottoms part of the sock to make my Christmas gnomes) and the top part to make the snowmen. For the nose I used orange pipe cleaners and pearl like sticky gems I coloured black. For my foam Christmas three I used jute rope for a more rustic look. I can’t wait to try the ribbon one tho!

    You don't have to do this but what I did with my snow men out of socks. Is I took some peppermint scented fragrance oil and put a few drops into the rice and let it soak it up, so the snowmen would smell like Candy Canes.

      I grated a wax cinnamon candle and placed the shavings in with the rice for added scent :)

      @luvjeordiestudios9719 Před 6 lety +2

      That's an even better idea too! Lots of scents to choose from at Walmart. They have a new one this year called Candy Cane Marshmellow. I LOVE that scent so much. It smells just like Twisted Peppermint from Bath and Bodyworks. It's pink and a limited edition one. That one and the one called A Wonderful Winter. It's a light blue one. Both are great for snowmen. They smell like Peppermint.

    I made the snowmen before but not dressed up. Yours looks cuter & easier to make, though I'd need an extra pair of socks.

    I know that bugs will get into rice or beans or bird food but you could use the small gravel that they use in aquariums instead.

    I guess you could always get a dowel and cut it down to size to fit the container paint it to look like a candy cane and hot glue it to vase ( can be removed if hot glued) if you're worried about wasting a candy cane which I never wanted to do before so I might just go and get a dowel. Love your videos I always get inspired to get crafting.

    I love candycanes. And making the candycane vase with real candy cane. u can't eat it cause it's glued now.
    so I would decorate white copy paper looking like candy cane with a red sharpie. and then glue it down to the vase. that way realy candy cane can b ate or used for hot cocoa

  • @dove7271
