  • Peptides have become one of my favorite ingredients to incorporate into my "graceful aging" routine. Although they have not been as extensively studied as tretinoin, lots of emerging data show benefits, and I personally find the science quite fascinating. Links to products mentioned below:

    Hi Dr. Liu. Thank you for this video. I have been very curious about incorporating peptides into my skin care regimen but didn’t want to jump right in because it’s the latest and greatest active (if that makes sense). Can the Alastin be added in the AM with Revision C+ Correcting Serum and in the PM with tretinoin or when I alternate with Avéne Retrinal? Thanks so much for wonderful content!

    • @dr.jennyliu
      @dr.jennyliu  Před 2 lety +3

      They play well with others normally just make sure to check ingredients and some peptides make contain retinol. Now ultimately you just need to try. Depending on the amount of your exfoliation your skin may not like anything else except a good moisturizer afterwards

    Exercise is the number one anti aging routine. That's why you look really old Dr Jenny Liu... no amount of La Mers can get you looking young if you don't exercise... You should google Jennie Rice. She's 80 years old, a marathon record holder and pretty sure her skin is looking great and far better than you though

    • @niwtru
      @niwtru Před rokem

      Oh gosh no! No one looks older faster than the exercise obsessed. The fat burning doesn't stop with the gut it moves up into the face. Actually people that are heavier look much younger than the thinner counterparts and its because of that fat.
