This a very good product for starters in the classic-shaving world. I'm a person with sensitive skin, so it helps me a lot to maintain my skin soft and without irritation.

Thanks for the review! I have the 6S for a few months now, and my favorite plate to use is the 2. I do 3 passes and non of the passes I feel the blad. But fater those 3, I am very smooth, no nicks, no burn. My fav blades are the Muhle and the King C. I tried Astra and Feather. But they don't do it for me.

I've got the 6s. I used plate 1, it does nothing. I found the best setting for my daily shaving that I start with the grain using plate 4, and across/against the grain I use plate 2. Still gets a few nicks and cuts with Astra blades, but rarely with the Rockwell blades. At the end I'm happy with my Rockwell 6s.

I would like to try it but I'm a bit reticent, the handle seems a bit too long for medium-small hands and I don't like so much that Rockwell made this product in China, but the double-reverse mechanism is pretty interesting for the price.

The manual shows R1 to R4 but there is only one head included?

It comes with 1 head that is reversible for 2 different settings. R1 and R3

You need the 6c if you want the r2/r4 and r5/r6 plates.
