The Resistance games were not easy games to play. For me Easy is roughly between Normal and Heroic for Halo. From the looks of it, the mod maker got this right.
I like it when fans can mix different elements from various IPs. Man, I would like someone to bring the Killzone weaponry, enemies, and environments to the PC; I can only imagine the possibilities for dedicated fans of those videogames! I like this one, but I cannot deny that I crave for more iconic FPSs from the console wars to land on PC :)

Funny enough, the Eaglestrike armor from Halo Infinite basically says that is how the timeline/fracture is. Steampunk and WW1 against the Covenant at Earth.
After playing this mod I can confirm it’s a lot of fun, but it DEFINITELY has its issues. For one there’s WAY TOO MANY NPCs running around to the point where it starts lagging the game. The shotgun should be found more than just once in the facility (in my play through I was only able to find one, and after you reach a certain point you can’t get it back if you’ve left it in a previous room). Power weapons like the flame thrower and the mini gun should be used more frequently since they’re fun. The blue Slugman variant armed with the Bullseye 2 should appear more because it would give the player more ammo for that gun. Drinols should have a health boost and be used more. There was too much fog and a lot of the areas in the facility look too similar. The sniper should be found in a few more locations, but you should have to look for it. Other than those issues it was a blast to play and I HIGHLY suggest everyone who watches the video play it. It just has some drawbacks that prevent it from being better. I hope the modder makes a part 2 electric boogaloo.
Slugmen with yellow armor represent the normal Hybrids and Elite Hybrids are represented with blue armor Slugmen. The modder should’ve made it so the Bullseye tracks like a Needler/Plasma Pistole overcharge because you can’t really get crazy Resistance alt fires working in Halo. I really hope that more is done with this concept. It would be pretty crazy to see a full campaign that builds on this.
Even if they have early access to the covenant technology they are still pretty screwed taking into consideration the fact that it took a long while to create their own energy shields.
The era of the Cross Universes is finally started. I'm making a short novel about a similar stuff, but this time the Covenant will face the Colonial Marines from Alien. 😎

You missed the context. It has nothing to do with chimera. Roswell NM is known for strange stories, UFOs and the like. It was just a simple reference. Nothing to do with Resistance.
Resistance has such a good universe and feel behind it, it's too bad the devs couldn't find their footing and stumbled with two sequels. The multiplayer in the first was solid, they muddled it with 2 and then fixed it somewhat with 3. But the story got worse with each new game. Still, it was unique and few have ever emulated something like it since.

Waiting for the day the Halo Engine sees it's equivalent to Cry of Fear for GoldSource. This seems to be a significant step in that direction.

Those models at 8:38 are from the Resistance 2's 8 player co-op mode. It made me so happy to see my boys in action again.

I was just telling my friend about how good Resistance 2's Multiplayer was. The PvE Missions were so much fun to run with a whole lobby of players.
Resistance 2's Co-Op was GOAT alongside Reach, Lost Planet 2, and WfC.

It's a Bullseye, the Bullseye changed looks in every game but the one in 2 is very distinct especially when next to the others.
