RIP the great Trinity! I'm in two minds here. I look back to the original days. You wouldn't have seen a single white person in a stage show like this and I sometimes feel that someone of the stature of Trinity is wasted on most of them. I wonder, do they really understand who or what he was back then? On the other hand, we as black people, have failed to support and give the due reverence to our heroes of yesteryear. It's happened from the earliest days. When black youth moved away from the the Blues it was the white audiences who resurrected the musicians careers and made them legends. The exact same is happening with reggae today. If we leave it to others to do it we can have nothing to complain about!
