"Plant" the broken portion of the plate into the loose ground at the beginning of each row in the garden to indicate what is going to be popping up there.
Tomato written on the plate, or lettuce, cucumbers.
Great way to recycle and to keep track of what will be plated up fresh from your garden.

Some of us still have land line phones. We have cell phones too, but, where we live, reception is spotty and unreliable. Getting one bar is a good day. Our land line always works, even if the power goes out and the cell reception is interrupted.
Lol. We just got enough reception a few months ago to get rid of our landline

Uline tape is NOT cheap!! Broyhill isn't part of Big Lots; for the most part, they make furniture. Loved all the tape you saved!

Broken plates could be used for mosaic projects, If you wanted to try it.
I have my landline because it continues to work when the power goes out. Cordless phones don't and you can't recharge cell phones. It came in handy when we (Texas) got hit with the freezing weather and storms! I love to have that cord!
my sons drawers door broke cause he hit it with a ball while playing, he simply put packingtape inside and out. he still use the drawer, packingtape really handy dandy😄😄😄
Duck tape is also a solid choice👉👈💯🤛 I will definately try the packing tape💯🤛

Any extra towels or blankets are well appreciated at veterinarian offices/hospitals. They run short of these items for the animals that have to stay over night... Love your videos...

Candle plates good for u. Where r ur material bags for dumpster diving ?,Just stay safe and hydrated.
I cut pretty parts of old plates with a electric tile cutter and then use a belt sander to finish the edges. Makes pretty jewelry. Just an idea😊.

Steph , when I was a youngster we not only had a land line only, but it was a party line. We had three different homes all on the same phone line. we knew it was for our house by the number of rings . Ours was 2 rings so it would have a small pause between sets of rings. Better yet our neighbours were Checks, we were french. They could pick up their phone and hear and interfere with conversations. These kids today just don't have a clue of struggle now do they. Things a too easy for them now LOL

How does anyone throw away brand new rolls of tape? And not just one or two but about ten? People just waste so much now a days but at least pickers and dumpster divers like yourselves are keeping that stuff out of the landfill. Enjoyed the video. Stay safe out there.

Just a little tip, sometimes the stores use the numbers on the address of stores for the combination of the locks so the trash trucks can open the locks to dump the trash but don't forget to lock it back up afterwards.....🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 take care you guys and god bless you.

I’m sure y’all have answered this question before, but how often would you say you go to dumpsters and don’t find anything? Also, have you ever had the cops called/gotten in actual trouble for dumpster diving? Like, other than just being told to leave and/or never come back.
Its easy, just go the back of a nearby plaza & check the bins, at a quick glance if u see something then u grab, or not , usually security or cops won’t say anything if they see u, they just don’t like when people dump

It just seems like they find good stuff _every time_ they go, and I’m wondering if they just don’t post the times where they don’t find anything, or if they just almost always find something.
I’m also wondering if anyone who dives frequently has gotten into _actual_ trouble for doing it. I know that what normally happens when someone gets caught is pretty minor, I just wonder what the worst case scenario would be for someone getting caught by security or an employee calling the cops. I live in Texas, so worst case scenarios from people who dumpster dive in Texas would be even better. Thanks for your reply though 🙂.
@@Ari6lle1nWonderl2nd im from texas too, i dd every other day some days i find small things , some days u find nothing, im pretty sure they dive every day & whenever they don’t find anything they don’t post, or they just edit the videos & do cropping, one time i got caught by police, he asked what was i doing, i just told him i was looking for boxes & he left.
Security r pretty chill they might stop u or they might not, & if they do they tell u to leave, it’s risky if u go to a private property location plaza they can actually call the cops on you, I’ve gotten some pretty chill employees, never haf any prob.:)

If the tape is old it rips when you try to unroll it.
Nice finds! At about 9:50 to the right as you moved the paper, I saw what looked like a jar candle. Since when does tape expire? Lol 😆
Cool thing is tape does expire how you tell is when you unwrapped it instantly tears, like when you usually do it you have to cut it with sciccors

have you guys considered contacting your senator to draft a reduce frivolous landfill waste bill where they would get tax breaks for calling shelters or thrift stores to pick stuff up and impose fines unless the stuff is actually broken glass and you would be the reporters. this would be for national corps, small chains exempt.

Tape is expensive! I use it to fix books, laminate things, fix laundry baskets and totes, for everything, really.

The sad part of a cell phone is when a disaster occurs then they no longer work. With the latest ones around the world cell phone users have been a world of hurt.
Another sad part is that we rely on all this high tech stuff and when a disaster happens ( like a major geo storm ) nothing is going to work.

Big Lots bought out Broy Hill and Lane Furniture. The Broy Hill candles are so nice, most all of them are soy wax.
You should see how they waste at Dollar General in Central Texas. Before they would send it to the homeless, they throw it away. Austin has so many homeless it is sad. Houston has homeless, just go to any larger city and you will find them. A lot are are our veterans. Love y'all so much.

You can tell some of those places have the “break it before you toss it” policy…..I worked at a place that told you to make sure you break it so it’s unrepairable before it goes in the dumpster
