  • In the evening of December 10th, 2021, a supercell developed near Little Roc, Arkansas and began to wrap up around Jonesboro as it continued northeast. It produced its first violent tornado near Bay, Arkansas striking the cities of Leachville and Monette. It continued into the bootheel of Missouri producing EF-4 damage in Braggadocio. The wedge tornado continued northeast passing near Hayti and Caruthersville making its way into Tennessee. It produced more EF-4 damage in Tiptonville and dissipated just northeast of Samburg. The supercell cycled and produced the most deadly and long-tracked from the event. The tornado touched down near Woodland Mills, Tennessee and continued into southern Kentucky. The town of Cayce took a direct hit at EF-4 intensity, and the tornado continued northeast. The tornado dug a 1-foot deep trench near Crutchfield. It continued northeast directing hitting the city of Mayfield at near high-end EF-4 intensity. A candle factory was leveled here killing 8. It continued northeast hitting the city of Dawson Springs where more than a dozen were killed. It reached Princeton (where the thumbnail was taken) hitting a subdivision at EF-4 intensity once again. It made its way to Bremen reaching peak strength, completely sweeping away a well-built home at high-end EF-4 strength. It continued east-northeast for a little while before dissipating near McDaniels, Kentucky. The supercell produced a few smaller, weaker tornadoes before fully dissipating near the Ohio border.

That three body scatter spike caused by the debris ball is something I have never seen before.
