Why do people think this scale is too small? What details could possibly be missing here? I have the Polish version, and it is beautiful.
People have a problem with 1:35 scale for smaller vehicles like the WW2 ones. The modern MBTs are comparable in size with the WW2 heavy tanks.
The problem is not the 1:35 scale itself, but where it is used. Planes are fine in 1:48 scale for example because irl they are much larger. Same for the battleships made in 1:300 scale.

@@dronessential A Panzer 4 is 5.92m long (7.02m with gun forward), 2.88m wide and and 2.68m tall, a Tiger 2 is 7.38m long (10.286m with gun forward), 3.755m wide and 3.09m tall, an Abrams (moderm tank) is 7.93m long (9.77m with gun forward), 3.66m wide and 2.44m tall, so the hull is longer than a tiger 2 hull. As the bricks have certain dimensions, you can't make a small vehicle on a very small scale. That's why it is easier to make a 1:35 scale of a modern tank than a 1:35 scale of an average WW2 vehicle, because the modern MBTs are as big as a heavy tank from WW2.

Well, I know for a fact I will be getting this set. It looks so good! My dad fought in Afghanistan, and often he was put in an Abrams tank. He was the loader, but he got to fire the main gun in combat a few times. The ammo on his tank even blew up one time and set the tank on fire, but they managed to escape.
You might not realize but your dad surviving might be a famous video on CZcams.
Blowout panels is probably one of the most important things people invented for tanks

My cousin was the commander of a Bradly fighting vehicle. They usually worked hand in hand with Abrams tanks.
@@chris.3711 Awesome! Those are such interesting vehicles. My dad has many friends who fought in Bradlys. In fact, he's helping with the logistics of getting Bradlys to Ukraine. But my dad specializes in air to air and air to ground as fighter pilot, so there's a possibility he may help train Ukrainian fighter pilots. he was just in an Abrams to fill the role of loader a few times lol.

My first cobi product and I cant complain. No missing parts and everything was understandable to build. Bought the Leopard 2A5 TVM right after.
i got mine 2 days ago. the bricks with the letter F onthem are missing. i contacted cobi, they said they are gonna send them in a few days. but a great set overall, a few missing pieces wont make me lose my faith in cobi
A good ol Abraham's, hoping in future someday that new variant Abraham so called "Abraham X" will finally it's having these sets. Keep going my friend 👍

This tank looks awesome. It really has a lot of detail to it. I don't know if its just me but the gun looks just a bit too small. But I think that's just me.

you either get lucky and those tires are nice to work with or the rubber is too stiff and wheels will become a royal pain in the bu- uhm finger...
but aside from that, this version of the abrams looks quite nice. the old one had some odd design quirks if i recall correclty.

You think there will be a time where a tank has both RC features, the ability to shoot and full interior I’ve tried making it myself but I don’t have enough motors I think it’s possible

It is a clear improvement over the last Abrams. I personally will buy this model, but I'm still not sure if I should buy the Polish version of the US version.

I personally preffer the Cobi sets over brickmania. I think I'll buy the Polish version of this Abrams.
3 color CARC camo goes perfect with any NATO vehicle, so I would personally go with the Polish one

I just build the Leopard 2 TVM (Wood camouflage) with great colors. I like the look of this abrams, but maybe its boring if you build only one color? I dont wont the polish abrams, a different color would be nice. But maybe its boring to build?

Not bad but nothing against the Panlos Merkava, i think the Panlos Merkava is simply the best tank around of all brick tanks.
I already have the 2 previous Abrams from Cobi.. I am going to buy this that would be my 3rd Abrams with wrong turret. I can’t believe Cobi can’t perfect the iconic front view of the turret.. While other like chinese brands did it well..
to be fair tho this one looks the best out of the three. if you want a complete realistic front then one of the sides should be bigger and ofcours shaped like the real life one

Если честно , слубан больше похож на реальный танк, у этого башня спереди стремненькая , и странно что они сделали несемметричную башню , но не сделали нормально детали верха корпуса ( позади башни и над двигателем) и еще командирская башенка в коробку смотрит , ведь они почти на 1 уровне

Sorry Cobi spricht mich in letzter Zeit nicht mehr an 🤷🏻♂️. Es gibt zu viele Kopien/Neuauflagen von eigenen Modellen die dann natürlich auch immer teurer werden.
Es gibt so viele coole Modelle aber nein es gibt wieder einen in diesem Fall sogar zwei Abrams oder den hundertsten Sherman Panzer.
Dieser neue Abrams gleicht dem Modell 2619 schon sehr … da hilft es auch nicht ein paar Steine zu tauschen und auf dem Turm eine Klappe einzubauen.
Werde mir keinen kaufen da ich echt wieder total enttäuscht bin. Leider stagniert Cobi und Firmen wie Panlos/Quan Guan/Jie Star und sogar Sluban haben die interessanteren Modelle am Start.
