Awesome! Thanks🙌🏻
Thank you for sharing! I wish I would've discovered this video a year ago. 🤣
great video wix fix!!
For the people who want to use the scroll with site option and has the header disappear, click on the header, then right click on the top right where it says header, and then go to arrangement and bring the header to the front. It worked for me
Have spent hours trying to figure out how to do this, thank you!
Me too! Greetings from Norway, and thanks a lot Wix Fix!
Thank you soooooo much!
Thank you so much!!!
I can't drag the new section upwards "behind" the header. Any thoughts?
omg thank you so much for this literally every other video was such a waste of time
thank you!
W vid like always!
Life saver! you da man
Thank you! Yet I don't see I have the option "Change Column Background" in my header.
Any idea how to change header background to not be transparent when we are in the middle of a website scroll and it pops up while scrolling up? Then only Menu buttons are visibe but because there is no backgroun, it does not look good at all. Is there a way to adust the "dropdown" version of header?
Hi, still can't find out how to do the same with all pages without affecting the Home Page?
My Wix Editor looks completely different... Was there an Update or do I need to change something in the settings?
how to select the part from the header and apply for all pages
please tell me i need this
my header is now merged to the lower section. its in overlapping items now . how to restore header back to being fixed and separate from rest page
How can I get that header to only show on my home page, and have a regular header for my other pages?
I don't see an option for Strips in Wix Studio. Sounds like they are called Containers and Sections now, but neither seems to work like the old Strips in Wix Classic. Any advice?
Hi, i would like to know if theres a way to create blend mode content in header in wix studio, I haven't found it online yet. Some one knows?
I'm just trying to get my section background to show through my header and footer. Nothing works no matter what I do in Wix editor. And I can't have a mobile menu without a header and footer on my desktop site.
Yeah but what about my other pages and my header is now transparent?????!
In mobile section my logo is not visible as it's in white , please suggest
How the actual F$%^ do we do this on wix studio now? Theres no strip.
Did you figure it out? been searching for answers
Use a container and follow the same method. Note that if you want your header to be pinned, simply remove the background because a pinned header automatically overlaps the section. I made a short on it.
When I drag the strip up, it covers the header completely rather than going behind it. Is there a way to fix this?
Hello there. Thanks fo your videos. I cant seem to find anywhere in Wix Studio, the option that lets me tweak the hearder behaviour, e.g. on the old editor it let me change how this scrolled or hides and reappears when scrolling? THese options are not shown i the studio inspector. Can you help point me in the right direction please?
You have to set the position type to Pinned. Then you will see additional options for moving or changing the color for the header in the inspector!
this is not applying on wix studio editor header content go behind the image.. how can we make tranparent header in wix studio editor??
If the header content is behind the image, use the layer panel and being it to the font. In Wix Studio, use a container instead of a strip and follow the same steps
How do you do the same with Wix Studio ?
Do the same thing, but use a container instead of a strip
My header keeps having a white and only semi-transparent background color even when the opacity is set to 0 %. How do I fix this?
you can set the opacity at 0%
I cannot add a strip in Wix Studio, but tried the container method. When the container is small I am able to drag behind the header, but when I "stretch" it to fill the screen, I cannot grab the image or change the Y value to get it behind the header. Any other ways to accomplish this?? Some of my pages have the image behind the transparent header, and on other pages I can't seem to recreate the same effect. I can't find what is different to mimic the successful pages. Please help!! :)
For Studio, just select the header, and set the "Position Type" to "Pinned" in the Inspector Panel. Hope that helps.
The video disappears behind the header, even though I made it transparent it just stays withe! What can I do?
Ok, basically I had the strip above the header section and I had to set the opacity to 0% for both of them.
Hey Ryan, I tried doing this, but the strip just covers up the header. I can't send it to the back either. Any idea how to fix this?
Hmm. Is that strip in the section below? Sometimes the strip can attach to another section or the header itself. Also you can try to select the header, right click, press arrange, and send to front. If those do not work, then you may need to reach out to support.
@@wixfix I think I figured it out. It seems like the header scroll setting has to be set to freeze, disappears or fades out. If it's on "scrolls with site" the overlapping strip covers it up, but on any of the other settings the header will be on top. Do you know if there's a way to have it work when set to scrolls with site?
Hello, every time I do this my slide attaches itself to the header, how can I solve it?
Had the same thing happen at first. Was solved for me by making sure to not have your mouse actually cross over the header line (the orange line) when dragging the strip up. (ie) Select and drag the strip from the bottom, not near the top, since the strip will attach to whichever area your mouse is on. Hope that helped!
Thanks!@@onelongdog
Thanks! But it does not work for mobile version :(
Exactly, i did this and then checked a tablet , it was terrible. So how would be the best way to do this Wix? How to create a header left sided logo & menu with a strip that works well on tablets?
I'm surprised this isnt standardised as it the 'standard' for the industry.... any input would be appreciated.
@@thevintagebrush7378 I changed to editor X!
the strip does not exist in wix studio does it?
Wix Studio does not have Strips. It has Cells and Containers instead and are much more customizable than classic editor Strips.
@@wixfix Thank you.
Dosen't work
it doesnt workkk
Whenever I try to do this it keeps saying Attach to header and I just can’t do anything about it, please help!
And if the attach to header thing doesn’t come up, the header will just stay black when I put the strip underneath it and even when I make the background transparent it still doesn’t show the image I want behind it
Drag it from the bottom of the Strip. If your mouse is on top of the header at the end, it will attach it.
Another method is selecting the Strip, and then use the Toolbar to set the Y value to 0 I believe. Hope that helps.
Why are you teaching classic editor when we're struggling to get what was a simple thing done in classic, and now seems impossible in Studio?? I'm so confused.
that thing you do when you put in an image, then put on a darker color and draw down the transperacy, doest that not work for ordinary pictures? the picture editing i wix is the most horrid invention mankind has ever created.
