There's a theory which is about a multiverse of multiverses: the Megaverse. It's like if the multiverse was a ball just like the universe, and the Megaverse was the Multiverse of these balls. And then, Gigaverse, Teraverse, Petaverse, etc.

I personally do believe we live in a multiverse, despite the religion I'm in. And also both my beliefs and my religion fuel my imagination for different ideas for stories.

Brendan Greene to add on to your belief I'd have to say that each universe has its own god/creator with there own laws of physics and types of matter (example the blue force) that do not exist in this universe. and instead of breathing oxygen they'd breathe carbon dioxide, or instead of gravity they'd have equilibrium pressure holding them to their planet

But the multiverse could create matter and elements that have never been heard of before, so it is infinite (if it’s real, that is)
Here's a take on it. Maybe in a parallel universe where only one managed to form or even begin to form.
technically we are actually miniscule like an ant to the united states and the things we perceive to be big are actually small...what if we are products of a universe within a universe and our universe is contained in an atom that also holds smaller replicated atoms and molecule's... think bout Dat for a second.

I also thought into that myself, that perhaps we and what we are able to see that is far larger than us is on the atomic level of something else, be that another universe, an atom of it, what ever. Size is only relative.
We are actually more like the size of a cell compaired to the size of the sun. An ant compaired to the usa is still way to big 😂 even that cell compaired to the sun is probably a million times to big lol

FCF SEAN honestly, an ant in the United States isn’t any different compared to the universe and us. I’ll say we are probably like an atom to the andromeda galaxy (bigger than the Milky Way) if we are only talking about the observable universe. In my opinion, there is no multiverse crap but a very very large universe which could possibly expand and expand and expand or not. And if you didn’t know, when people say the universe, they mean the observable universe as we can’t see any further for now. If that’s the case, I believe compared to the whole entire universe, we are merely the smallest quark in the world to a cluster of millions of galaxies. But I don’t know how big the unobservable universe is so maybe it could even be the smallest thing in existence compared to 10 times of the size of the observable universe. Honestly the world is much bigger than you think.

Maybe in some universes mass or gravity doesn't exist. It's possible that Newton's Laws of Motion don't exist in other universes. Other universes could be more or less advanced than ours.
If There is no mass.. its an empty space. Probably we can't call its an universe having no mass..

In these multiverses, physical constants could be different. Therefore, the acceleration that we feel due to gravity (9.81m/s^2) could be less or greater than this. This acceleration acts on our mass causing us to feel gravitational force. Cheers from a physicist.

The multiverse is just a working model to think about how the universe behaves if it is indeed part of a bigger system. I have done a lot of writing of papers. And a few of them would explain (If true) that the multiverse does exist because it's our way of seeing the next step up in the interactions of matter and energy. Just as many cells come together to become the body. Many planets come together to become a solar system and many solar systems become a galaxy and many galaxies become a supercluster and so on. And if we keep going. Many-universes becomes the multiverse. And even many multiverse become the omniverse. A collection of all states that could ever be from everything. Thanks to entanglement and symmetry. And the CMB is nothing more than the outter edge of the singularity that exploded that creates a border for our universe. And the rules are set at the time that a big bang goes off. And why many can change rules of what works best at that time and everything falls into place. Like one big bang could have been colder or hotter or more or less dense or expanded slower or faster or one force could be stronger or weaker than ours and it would have changed all rules after the first took effect and built on those rules from there changing everything. And because space could be infinite it means that it goes on to infinity and each universe is only self-contained by the CMB. Creating a bubble if you will almost like another galaxy is right next door to ours. And when it dies and gravity pulls everything back together into a single point at the end of time. Boom. A fresh big bang. Cool stuff =).
For anyone who doesn't keep up on such news, the BICEP2 results don't seem to be holding up at this time. That's not to say that the polarization pattern doesn't exist or that we don't live in the type of multiverse that would imply, just that it's looking like they didn't find what they thought they found.

Why do people mention supposedly "parallel" universes every time they talk about the multiverse? Not all of the universes are parallel. In fact, there are infinite amount of universes.

If there are infinite universes, then there is a universe where there are no other universes
Anything that can happen must happen somewhere in the multiverse. We are, then, all of us necessary beings, just because we were possible. I like the term "cosmic twins" for the infinite number of others identical to myself out there. Then we have "cosmic siblings" for those nearly identical, but not quite. Those that are like me in some way but very different I call "cosmic cousins."
When you think of cosmos it is pretty dark and filled with dark energy and extremely cold and could conduct electricity any amount like super cooled energy Waves. Dark energy condenses to form super symmetrical dark particles which are perfectly aligned in dark energy field space and they form like lattice. A small perturbation creates something like a battery fuses and creates big bang and creates a whole in the fabric of dark energy and dark matter. This big bang creates white energy and white matter which expand and it takes eons to repair which we call the universe. And the background microwave radiation gives the clue of the occurring.
