Ekuru is also known as White Moin Moin, some call it Ofuloju and it is so delicious. I share how to make Ekuru and Ekuru Sauce. Hope you like it.

The last time i cooked ekuru during d lockdown i gave my neighbor hubby cause he was in our home watching Netflix and ever since d wife stopped responding to my greetings...

I ate a lot of ekuru when I was in the university with eko. I remember when the seller comes and shouts Elekuru de oooo. I will ruuuuuuuuu with my plate. I no won hear story
This was my lockdown food. I ate it everyday for a long time just because I was pregnant and that was the only food I could eat.

When I was young the whipped of the ekuru was my job with turning stick you just mix, mix and mix away now food processor is going to do the job for you

I love ekuru soo much, I woke up this morning and began craving it, I thought to myself where will I get this one now????
And then a good idea pooped into my head, it said you have beans at home why not go on CZcams and look up the recipe, and as a sisi yemmie follower I knew it was already a don deal. Soo here I am ooo😂
If you don't have a food processor like me, you can blend and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it up until it's double in size and light and fluffy
I made ekuru yesterday and my kids asked me to always make it for them. We love it.

In Cameroon 🇨🇲 we put palm oil in Ekuru, with a bit of salt and blind it with peper: it’s call KOKI and we it it with right plantain. Delicious 🤤

I remember my mum used to blend the beans with the skin, giving the Ekuru a dark look, still delicious still. The sauce determines a lot. Ounje awon agba!

I don't think l know this meal and beans was my favourite meal growing up.Where have l been?Nigeria has many delicious food it's unbelievable, a lot seem forgotten somehow.It's a shame l had to leave for England before actually waking up to our dishes. We crumble ours in my home town (Ila Orangun) and mix with cooked chunky okro slices. We then eat it with Eko. It’s so good!

Ekuru is an Igbomina food. And that is why non-Igbomina will not crumble theirs before munching it. Am an Igbomina boy from Oro- Ago in Kwara state.

It was a regular Saturday dinner for us in the 80s /90s in Mushin, Lagos. We have women that hawked it regularly in our neighbourhood. Sometimes we cooked it too.

But I don't do tomatoes in the sauces sha. In fact tomatoes is a NO NO for me. Aside that, everything other thing is perfecto👌👌👌👌👌
Sisi Yemmie thank you but do you know can try some vegetables(ugu, green or any of your choice) in the sauce. Another thing is try adding sliced or chopped onions just before taking it off the heat then cover and leave to simmer for a few minutes. That's the boom. Hmm it's heavenly.
