Hi Josh, using kafka, i'm sending "hello world" as string but at consumer end the payload is being displayed as : 104,101,108,108,111,32,119,111,114,108,100 instead of "hello world". please help.

@EnableBindinding is deprecated. Please can you post new samples with spring cloud stream.

Clement Tientcheu use transform method to transform the payload to string u can use GenericTransformer class
you can use @StreamListener("channelName")...hope i helped you...
