The Volkswagen Taos is a good SUV. It has an impressive cargo room, spacious and supportive seats, and a comfortable ride. It also returns good fuel economy estimates. However, some cheap plastics throughout the cabin bring down the overall ambiance of the interior, and the transmission sometimes has to hunt for the right gear.

I have a 2024 taos se fwd and this review is spot on , it truly is a great vehicle . My SE with fwd was 26,800 much better than the sel, in my opinion.

I would consider the Kia Seltos over this. The VW Taos is overpriced and underpowered for what you're getting. A fully equipped Taos is the cost of some mid size SUV's. Not worth the money 👎

Get a Taos S, you still get the heated steering wheel and vinyl seats just no heated seats or sun roof. I love my Taos, affordable, reliable and fast!

I had this as a loaner, kinda load. I prefer my Passat over it. I’d rather get the atlas cross sport.

Face it people, VW has pretty much given up being a viable competitor in the US market. They are overpriced and cannot shake off the stigma of poor reliability.
