T1 went through devastating losses in 2022 and at the start of 2023. The team was broken after worlds 2022 but somehow during worlds 2023 they became monsters. Their rotations were crazy good. The amount of discipline during team fights compared to 2022. Their amazing read of drafts it’s crazy how much they improved. Most dominant championship run for any team by far. This year was just pure domination for T1.

To understand Keria's emotions a bit better, we have to remember that this is the 3rd year that he gets knocked out by LCK teams. The other two times it was rather understandable, Damwon was on top of its game for so long it was hard to imagine any other outcome. But this time, it was an aberration. 6th placed team in LCK, whom T1 had swept in regular season 4-0 (after going 18-0 in spring btw), who absolutely never stood a chance in LCK playoffs, going to game 5 against them, it has to have a heavier mental toll than both Damwon losses. But you can see by Faker's reaction, he wants to be back next year. Depending on how off season goes for the LCK teams, I can totally see T1 manhandling their competition next season.
