Amirah is the example of someone who is loved and allowed to be honest and herself! Good job, Ashley and Brian!
Her daughter is so intelligent and articulate for only 15! They are doing a great job with her.
Omg she’s grown up so much 🥹 when she said she feels seen and understood + safe !! Definitely my goal as a mom of daughters 💓
AC2 is hilarious. I love their relationship. I love that they are open and close.
Wow! This is so good! Especially the part where Mom talks about how she wants Amirah to be the sister and not disciplinarian. ❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾
Whew that sister convo! Ashley is truly such a great mom!! That's such a smart way to parent multiples with an age gap.
This is beautiful. Love how safe she feels to express herself.
I’ve teared up this entire 17 minutes … she is so stunning but the internal beauty really shines through and that’s both of them ☺️ Ashley, you are incredible and you really see it in your babies !
I absolutely love this! This is the best couch conversation. I feel like your admiration for one another is so evident and genuine. So beautiful to see. Thank you so much for sharing.
I was never allowed to wear makeup as a teen and really wanted to but I am glad my parents didn't allow me as I love my face. I wear light makeup now and literally only for special occasions. I had friends who couldn't leave the house at all without a full face and feel like now they look much older because of it.
She is a very wise and great mom.
I teared up at the beginning, but this was so beautiful to watch.
They must be so proud of her. How lovely.
This was so beautiful 😍 I pray and will work towards having a beautiful union and relationship with my daughter like Ashely does, p.s Ashely is my favorite 🤩😘😘😘😘 thank you both for doing this and allowing insight into mother- daughter relationships 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
We watch Amirah grow up on IG. I am not surprised at how intelligent, kind spoken and thoughtful she is. Good job Ashley!
Add dad!
It's CRAZY that she's this old already.
I really love their relationship and the dynamic! 😍 They’re both so Amazing! Happy to call Ashley one of my close friends 🤗
The production quality on this channel is brilliant - the backgrounds, colours, sound quality, the thumbnails. Even the cut aways and split screens in this video alone. Bravo to your team 🎉
THANK YOU! 💕💕💕 - Black Love Crew
@@BlackLove You're welcome - to stand out in this crowded YT space is hard to do. This is documentary and film-making level and you can see the intention, leadership, teamwork and effort. You must be brimming with ideas - look forward to what's next.
Mom kinda seemed like the teen in the thumbnail! 😅
I love this!! I have a 13 year old and this was something I needed to see! We journal every summer as a way to connect so I will be starting off with questions like this as prompts for her this year. Please share more about raising older kids. My son just graduated elementary. More content on older kids is much needed. Thanks for sharing. This was beautiful
I love that you journal with your daughter to connect and stay connected. I would love to do that with my daughter. How do you journal together? Do you take turns with one journal? Do you leave questions ?
This was perfect ❤ my oldest girl is turning 12 and I see we have some of the similar conversations. So beautiful to see this, more please!
Love this thoughtful conversation!
I agree with the mom to a certain degree when it comes to her daughter wearing makeup at 15. I only disagree with wearing it for the male gaze. A lot of girls wear makeup for self expression and wearing makeup doesn’t always mean you find fault within yourself either. This is a great conversation..
This was really good!
Please provide the link to these conversation cards. These will be a blessing to other mothers & daughters. Thank you
I love this!
Love this conversation.
Awsome conservation ❤
This was beautiful! Idk how they got through it dry cause my eyes were tearing the whole time!
So sweet. Ashley you have a beautiful relationship with your daughter. Keep up the good work she will appreciate this into adulthood ❤
This was so sweet!!
Wow!! Beautiful duo & amazingly well spoken ❤❤
This was so sweet! 🥰
Encouraging session. Beautiful capture!
Wow this was awesome to watch. ❤
Aw, I loved watching this.
Can I get a copy of these conversation cards? Please and thank you!🙏🏾
I don’t want you mothering your siblings…that hit me like a ton of bricks. You’re doing an awesome job mama
This was beautiful to watch. Great job, mom!
Loved this ...love the relationship with you and your daughter
I love this
9:12 i think here the mother Was not listening Well. If the little ones are not tought boundaries the Siblings are going to have Problems in the future .
I love how your daughter is receptive to what you're saying by her gently toned "okay" responses.
Watching this is warming my heart and making me tear up as I rub my pregnant belly 🩷💕 I loveeee this mama & daughter interaction!!
I absolutely love this! I have two girls and I pray for a bond that resembles y’all’s 🥰
Love all of their exchange… but the very end has me lol 😆
This is amazing I wish I had this when I was away from my people raising a daughter with no village y’all are very very gorgeous amazing podcast.❤
My heart 🥺🥰
This is extremely beautiful genuine rich and so great to watch and experience
Well done Mom 😊❤
I started wearing make up (mascara,/eye liner) when I was like 14/15, got my eyebrows threaded when I was 14. I loved the little bit of make up I did wear and I believe I was comfortable in my own skin. I wouldn't object to my daughter wearing a little bit of make up when she's young, defo not a full beat or foundation or anything like that. I don't think there's anything wrong with teenagers wearing make up, just as long as its not excessive. But I also don't think there's anything wrong with Ashleys approach to this. Loved this chat.
Now how is she the mother? 🤔 They look like they could be sisters…
We really don’t crack…❤
I love this,Ashley is definitely AC1😅❤
A fellow iPhone screen time parent 🤝🏾 I felt like I was literally the only parent who knew about screen time 😂
I never saw makeup as a serious thing like my parents generation. I wear it because I like it not because It changes my appearance. I don’t wear heavy makeup either. I let ky daughter wear makeup from time to time because I teach her to love herself without it but just like a little liner and shadow. Real modest
One thing I understand but dont agree with is not letting teenage girls wear make up. Heres why. Believe me she is going to get tired of getting up 1 hour earlier every morning to put on make up, it wont last long. Also girls tend to appreciate their natural beauty more when they realize that wearing the makeup doesn't change anything. It happens really quickly. The last things is that if you say no, they will find a way to do it. She will be wearing her friends' mascara. Just teach her what she needs to know and let it take its course.
Not true. Teens listen and obey most of the time when you don't talk down to them, explain to them, or ignore them.
@NoName-sp5dp and they will also resent you for saying no. If it's not a safety issue, there's no reason to decline it and trample on their autonomy. Especially as it is something I know they quickly grow out of. I saw it growing up myself and saw it play out with my neices also in being told they can't wear it; they go to school and wear their friend's!
Is that her birth mom?
Yes
Only thing is, the mom is absolutely wrong about not letting her correct her younger siblings. Other than that awesome relationship.
Her reason sounds good to me. The sister relationship is important. The mom corrects them. The daughter is their peer.
@@HarperPolo correcting them when they do something wrong doesn't alter the release. They're supposed to listen and respect their big sister.
@EJayMD-11 I disagree, the older sister being the punisher, corrector alters the relationship of peer. But I agree the sisters should respect and listen to her as a peer. For example the daughter was speaking on boundaries and the mom said she would work on that with the younger ones.
@@HarperPolo I don't care if you disagree, you're still wrong. Have a good day.
@@EJayMD-11 sheesh
My goodness they look like sisters...she doesnt look old enough to be her mom.
