- These are the top 10 biggest Under-construction Smart and Modern Cities in the Philippines, through Land Reclamation projects and Urban Development.

Philippines' Biggest Urban Development
The new Urban Development will play an essential role in the growth of the Philippine Cities. It’s a new dawn for the Philippines a truly global city, the city of the future, a sustainable city to live, work, learn, and play.
Horizon Manila is a 419-hectare reclamation project, consisting of three islands that will include industrial, and commercial projects, as well as public housing projects for the residents of the City of Manila. It has been described as one of the biggest reclamation projects in Manila Bay.
The Pasay Reclamation Development Project in Manila Bay is a new and modern commercial and residential property development to be run by SM Prime Holding Incorporated. A green inclusive city with open spaces. Putting the Philippines at par with Hongkong, Singapore, and Sydney. With a world-class transportation network. And a CBD with fast connectivity to the Airport and to the Metro.
Solar City Manila is a mixed-used development to be built on 148-hectare reclaimed land in Manila Bay. Adjacent to the north of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, and west of the Manila Yacht Club.
Navotas Boulevard Business Park is an under-construction commercial and business center in Navotas. It will rise on 650-hectare reclaimed land and has been under construction since 2019.
Pasay Harbor City Project is a 265-hectare reclaimed area between The Pasay Reclamation Development Project and Horizon Manila. The Project is part of the Pasay Eco City Grand Vision to build a sustainable, eco-friendly, and world-class metropolis, consistent with its mission to promote the quality of life of its people.
The proposed New Manila Bay City of Pearl, located at the heart of Manila is deemed canceled. The 407 hectares of land is the biggest self-sustaining Smart City in Asia, planned to host more than 500,000 citizens and create over 100,000 jobs.
The biggest project of Urban Development outside Manila is the conversion of 9450 hectares of property in Clark into the new Clark City envisioned to become the newest economic Hub of Asia. The proposed Metropolis is located 100 kilometers north of Manila with plans to cover 9450 hectares it will be bigger than Manhattan and could accommodate as many as 1.2 million people out of 9450 hectares of the city Only 3500 hectares will be developed leaving the rest for green and Open Spaces making it a green City.
Clark Global City is a state-of-the-art 177-hectare master plan mixed-used business center of excellence in Clark Pampanga develop for smart safe and sustainable development. The city is the master plan for Turn Key properties including premium and grade e Office Building a market retail outlets contemporary academic centers.
The proposed Clark Freeport Zone will become a city that is a combination of a business center industrial estate residential community and Leisure destination it will be divided into seven districts which include the planned Clark Global City as designated District 2 the Southern Gateway.

The Philippines is actually a very strategic location since it's the nearest and adjacent to East Asia being China's main cities, Japan, Korea, Taiwan which are the largest groups of manufacturers who needs a lot of resources so it has a really big potential but corruption and our geography is holding it back

The best thing the govt should focus is make the other islands agricultural generating to compensate the conversion of other islands to cities and make all islands income generating plus revolutionalize the education system, financial literacy .
New Clark City has been announced in 2012. Still it is not a city. Similar Clark Global City. Everything going super slow in the PH. The track record in big infrastructure projects is bad. I hope Manila Subway can be finished asap.

Our capital is manila. There is nothing wrong if we first develop our mainland because Manila is the face of the Philippines. We should fix and rehabilitate Manila first, it is where the population is concentrated and actually the whole luzon is developing.. the mega projects are all over luzon.. actually the provinces are not left behind, there are several projects the government funded like building new airport or rehabilitation of new airports, ports, bridges and roads.. we cannot fully give it all because of short budget but the government is trying to distribute the budget just one at a time..
Cancel all the projects in the Philippines that are funded by China this is not good It is a clear Debt trap... We must learn of what they did in Pakistan, Venezuela and Sri Lanka.

Hindi maganda ang proposed modern city of the Philippines dahil puro buildings at magiging lalong matraffic. Ang dapat diyan ay tourist attractions and not building too crowded to each other for commercial purposes in Manila Bay.
