If I were to try to put a label on Chris’ music, it would simply be Awesome Music. But country music has always had a strong Blues influence. Jimmie Rogers is considered the Father of Country music. His Nickname was The Blue Yodeler and most of his songs are named Blue Yodeler #x with the popular name after in parentheses. The best explanation between the relationship between blues and country is this. Country music is the white mans version of the Blues and the Blues is the Black mans version of Country. They both grew from the root of the same tree, just wandered a different path to get here.
