The 88 contest was only better if you are talking star power,the two biggest names in dunking going head to head.But for just dunking the 2016 contest is the best I have seen,simply amazing.I think the Aaron Gordon dunk over the mascot and under both legs might be the greatest contest dunk I have ever seen.2020 might be a close second.

What we're missing right now is the power and flair of Vince Carter sure there were people who can imitate it but not picture perfect like Vince Carter did. I watch Wilt block Kareem's Skyhook at least 3 times in the same defensive sequence. Kareem got the ball back off the deflection at least 3 times and failed to get the ball over Wilt. You can find this footage on CZcams easily. Wilt was an Olympic level athlete without basketball. He was a Track & Field athlete. He competed in the high jump and the long jump, and obviously could run fast AF.
