I hate to be the bringer of bad news but Billy Kametz, the voice of Macaque as well as other notable roles in anime and video games such as Naofumi in Rising of Shield Hero and Ferdinand von Aegir in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, has sadly passed away from colon cancer. He was such a talented voice actor and listening to him as Macaque always calmed me down whenever I was having a rough day. May he rest in peace
The way he is portrayed as this "viallain" at the start of the series but also his bs telling you he fought alngside wukong makes his voice even more..... *MMM* 👌
Billy Kametz is such a talented voice actor. He really brought life into Macaque, which is one of the many reasons why he's one of my favorite characters. My prayers for him during his time of sickness.
I'm worried it's gonna change for season 4 because Bill Kametz is battling cancer :( Update: He did pass on Thursday. I can only hope he's now somewhere better. I know I'll never forget all of the great characters he gave us

I've recently discovered I'm simping on macaque because well, he's macaque (I cant believe I'm simping on a Lego monkey) but more importantly, because of his voice only for me to learn today that the voice actor is GONE!!! My heart hurts. He had a smooth and soft voice. Its a loss...a great loss :(
I'm happy I got to at least know this guy's voice. It's devastating that he's gone now, but I hope he sleeps soundly wherever he is now. Well, he was Due to recent medical issues he’s on a voice acting hiatus, so someone has taken his place for season 2. I believe a Stephen Fu? I can’t quite recall, but yes, he voiced Naofumi and had quite a stellar performance as well
