Legion the Fiend Jester and Emissary of the Afterlife can search. Also, Time Machine could replace a Regretful Rebirth, but not much better.
Shady wouldn't it be useful to replace Peten with Legion the Field Jester since he's a searcher?

Had been running Bubonic Vermin in my stall & draw decks (Exodia and Ra), but apparently Peten is better because it summons from the hand too... So thanks for the tip!
After 5 years I'm still enjoying this kind of videos LMAO 🤣. Good and simple Times on Duel Links, now everything it's "special summon 3 to 5 effect/XYZ/link monsters in 1 turn" or lose.

Shady, some cards to consider: Jester (a lot of people already suggested), Limit Reverse (revives Sangan and you can change him to defense to auto destroy), Soul Transition (works very well with Jester and BE Summoner, you draw 2 and an Exodia piece).

Three-eyed monsters are cards that were initially banned by the K Society. They are forbidden to use because they are too powerful. Later, the effect of a correction is changed to a round.
Mine is almost the same, though I do have a few different setup:
I use three:
Sangan
Legion The Fiend Jester
Blue Dragon Summoner
Defense Draw
Powerful Rebirth
Wonder Wand
One:
Double Summon
Magic Planter (Send 1 face-up Continuous Trap Card you control to the Graveyard: Draw 2 cards)
I like this setup as Blue Dragon Summoner can be used repeatedly with Powerful Rebirth. Double Summon gives me a chance to throw another monster onto the field if I have to use Wonder Wand. Magic Planter is an Odion level 40 reward card (I think) that is undervalued in this setup. I can use Powerful Rebirth on blue Summoner, then Wonder Wand it for two more cards, then use Powerful Rebirth to special summon it back onto the field, and finish it off with Magic Planter to draw two more cards (this doesn't even include how many times your Blue Dragon Summoner's effect activates). Powerful Rebirth can still be on the field if your monster is removed by effect, which makes it pretty handy with Magic Planter.
I forgot to mention, but the other advantage of Jester is that it allows me to bring back Exodia pieces from the graveyard. This helps out in case I have to use a hand or leg piece with Wonder Wand.

Shady fun fact legion the fiend jester is another searcher for exodia pieces it does the same thing as blue dragon summoner but it can also pull from the grave
Yo man If you want more search, add legion the fiend jester. It can also search from pieces in your graveyard, so you might the. Consider playing dark world dealings. And I've another great idea for exodia that might maybe work:
- all 5 pieces
- 3 dark world dealings
- 3 dark world UR that lets you search dark world cards
- 3 dark world dudes that makes you draw a card,
- 2 cursed bamboo (to search gold when discarded
- 1 golden bamboo
- 2 magical stone excavation (to discard dark worlds and to add golden bamboo)
- 3 thunder dragons to thin out the deck and as discard material
- 3 peten's (as defence and deck thinning)

It’s risky but I like Wonder Wand + Blue Drag summoner. That’s 3 cards there plus you have other spellcasters so it can be used on those cards too
Last duel when he got the win the 2 left pieces were on the left with the 2 right pieces on the right and the head in the middle. Couldn't have looked any smoother lol

Well I don’t know how old this is but something I would suggest trying in this is 3 bubonic vermin and some shards of greed for draw power!
That once per turn stipulation catches you out a fair bit. It gets me a lot too. This is why we read the text.
Emissary of the afterlife also is a thing, maybe not when this came out though, since I notice E-con isn't limited to 2 per deck in this video.
I remember watching this video and playing this deck years ago, help aim me in the right direction, to my finale build. 3X Sangan/3X Legion the fiend jester/ 3X Peten the dark clown/ 2X Exodia Incarnate/ 2X Enemy Controller/ 3X Wonder Wand/ 2X Drowning Mirror Force/ 1X Drain Shield/ 3X Wall of Disruption. this will halt and control the tempo of the fight. plus give you lots of draw (jester/wand) i have been running this for a few years now, still work well. very fun to use on newer decks, they never see this coming. just def and sacrifice. 2018-2021

I actually pulled a sangan from my first pack, so I immediately reset the box in hopes for another one. here's hoping for the second!!
Theres another f2p exodia deck by playmaker LD and it's ezzy to get all the card
Shady you probably don't know this but the sangan effect on duel links is the errata the original effect said it would search the card and you can that cards effect the turn search
Reg rebirth is not that bad, because that monster get auto-destroyed in your end phaese, that means that if your sangan, summoner or Legion gets destroyed in opponents turn, you can resummon it at their end phase or your main phase and then in your end phase you can get a new search.
I am so thankful i have never seen exodia played while playing.

Shady, replace Regretful Rebirth with Wonder Wand. If you equip wonder wand to Blue Dragon Summoner and then use Wonder Wand's effect to sent both of them to the grave yard, you can draw two cards on top of searching for an Exodia piece.
noble knights are the answer cause you can fill the field with ~3k defenders early on so all you have to do is stall plus you can earn lp each turn while you wait

On the duel you gargled you could have played the regretful rebirth and summoned sangen on his turn and he would have attacked it. You would have gotten the 5th piece during his turn and would have won. Doesn’t matter if it’s his turn when you get all five. The win condition still applies

You could use limit reverse on your opponent's turn then on your turn turn sangan into defense mode, destroying it for another piece, I don't know if that's better than regretful rebirth though
Limit Reverse to replace Regretful Rebirth? Special summon sangan at end phase then just put into defense position in your turn to search again

Hey Shady! I have a topic suggestion for the next Talk to May video: so i recently met someone online and have been talking to them for hours almost every day for the past month or so and we get along really well. One problem... she lives on the other side of the world! We do talk "face to face" but I wish we could properly meet. I am starting college soon so it isn't really an option.
So what I'm saying is: I would like you to do a video on online relationships; this could include things like friends met through gaming or situations like mine. I don't know how much personal experience you have with this sort of thing but either way it would be great to hear your opinion on it.

You should sometimes set an exdodia piece of your really brikking, you can get it back with your traps
You could run cards that speed up your draw speed. Also this deck type is a 50/50 shot

@shadypenguinn emissary of the afterlife is another searcher you can use for the normal cards.
So uh... Why not tribute a exodia piece for E-con and then regretful or powerful rebirth it back once you get the other exodia pieces?
I'd get rid of Regretful or max it to 1, add in some Dark World Dealings to increase the pace Powerful rebirthing a sangan/BDS.
Also, replace BDS with Jester. It's the same card but with better stats and it also has a sweet secondary effect in case you'd ever run something powerful in the deck to defend or attack (eg Blizzard Princess).
You could take the 3 regretful rebirths for 3 limit reverse, which can revive sangan and destroy it if you change him to defense, but you cant revive the blue dragon summoner, so its kinda the same problem...
If you want shady you can put monster reincarnation in that deck to bring a mister back to your hand

Hey Shady, I'm digging the redesign of the layout
As much as I want Sangan, a f2p like me can’t afford to spend gems on an expensive box for lackluster chance to get one, let alone get THREE from the box. I wish they just had all the cards in all the boxes free for you to obtain with tickets, that way you don’t have to waste all these gems on these random chances. It just makes more sense that way.
Day 12- Beating Boredom
After waking up even earlier than I usually do, I decide to watch some basketball highlights. Afterwards, I proceed to go and do the usual morning routine, feeling a little stiff from last nights hike. Completing this, I head to the kitchen in my flat and start to revise for an hour, which I use to write a timed essay, which made the boring topic slightly more challenging and enjoyable for me to revise. I then proceeded to have ice my legs so they would be ready for the upcoming hell that was the gym. Grinding out another hour of learning about the stock market, I proceed to have breakfast and relax for a few hours. Then I go and do complete my studying with some HTML/CSS learning.
Making my way to the gym, I begin to work my legs out, but they were very much stiff and sore, and I contemplated not doing it today and calling it quits. But I remember, I promised myself that I would get my legs pain free, and my physio even encouraged me to continue with the extra pain, so I decided to stick it out. After 3 and a half hours of gruelling training, I had finally completed my workout, and feeling satisfied with myself, headed back to the flat, where after icing my legs, made myself a few burritos for dinner, which was so good!

Replace Regretful Rebirth for Limit Reverse. Works on Peten, Sangan and blue boy
Try Wonder Wand instead of regretful rebirth, but don't use it with your first Peten becasue it will miss the activation, and it will be a total waste, most of the times you could use it with the 3rd one and Wonder Wand is very conssistent
You inspired me to duel again, I'm working on an exodia deck and a mausoleum deck
