Banjo-Kazooie was released with the N64 itself. It came as a bundle deal when the N64 was released because they didn't want people buying a system and not having any games to play. So Banjo-Kazooie is a game that literally EVERYBODY had growing up.

Watching this a year later and still crying my eyes out. I'll never forget the suspense, the excitement, the emotion. The way my heart pounded. Banjo and Kazooie's reveal is hands down one of the greatest moments in video game history and it makes me so happy have been able to been a part of it.

I totally understand the feeling. Banjo and Kazooie came out on my 5th birthday, and I got it that day as a present. It was my first game I have a lot of memories with. I didn't 100% it or anything, but it was one of the first games I remember being able to beat on my own.
It's a crime what Rare hasn't done with Banjo and Kazooie over the last 20 years.

@@michaelforgothispassword it's right around 1:07 when the super high pitched shrieking starts. The frame rate becomes noticeably choppy for a few seconds. Could also have to do with there suddenly being more fast paced action on the screen and more color changes, along with more audience movement to keep track of, but I like to think it's specifically the shrill cries of BAAANJOOOOOO that is bogging down the fps.

This was a beautiful moment for everyone who loved that funny duo since they were kids or teenagers in the late 90s. I remember going in a shoe shop Globo and playing the N64 in the kid section : there was Ocarina of Time and BanjoKazooie. And I fall in loved with these games ever since.

I wish Nintendo would buy the rights to Banjo Kazooie back. A remake of the two N64 games in the same way Crash and Spyro were remade would sell like crazy and make the fans really happy.
(Also new Games for them. I bet the people who also did the two Donkey Kong Country games from the last few years would do a great job on that)
Banjo and Kazooie were my #1 most wanted characters, rewatxhing the reveal never fails to make me tear up
