I don't know how to be vulnerable. Any time I've tentatively tried what I thought might be vulnerability I regretted it for one reason or another. Maybe I'm too masculine and unloving. Lol. That's so funny to me. It's the opposite of how I am. I've never been so confused.

@@fareenashofficial hmmm...I'm not sure what else to say about it. I think my trouble is that I have attachment trauma, so it's very very hard to me to embody this feminine spirit of vulnerability. I tend to be guarded and nervous in relationships... I try very hard to be calm and just enjoy things but something takes over me and then the next thing I know everything has fizzled out in some way or another. Having someone interested in me is the only easy part. This cycle happens every 3-6 months. I'm tired, lol. I'm impressed that my heart can keep taking it
Yes! If we have events from our past that we have not had a chance to heal from, our present will be very difficult. We cannot embody the healthier aspects of ourselves when we’ve been hurt and we lack self-trust bc our mind will always try to keep us safe. I do a lot of work around inner work as I have had a difficult past. I know this is the wrong attitude to have but I know that I'm not the only guy in the world that has always hated and resented women because of their passivity, how women have always played a passive role when it comes to forming or starting a relationship.
Why should it matter on which gender is the one to pursue or be the one to ask one out or initiate or be the one to express interest first
There are many women that would love to take the pursuer role and you are entitled to want that as feminine women desired to be pursued. No wrong or right attitude it’s just preference 🤍. I appreciate your comment and for being respectful 🤍

@@nobodysperfect06I think there are different types of women and men, someone who’s in more feminine side or else in masculine side. If we understand our own position, if we want to be pursued or pursue, you can always find the right person for that, just also preferences and related to personal traits I guess. But being women in feminine side, you would like naturally or instinctively that he would lead and if he’s more in his masculine side, he would want to pursue a woman and be in that leading position, or vice versa, if men would like to be pursued there will be always women who would also prefer this. I think it all depends..but from my own perspective and experience if the man is more masculine type of guy, it never worked as when I tried too hard or push things, never worked out, only me feeling too much and miserable. I would prefer men taking initiative and pursue rather me being In masculine and desperate position, as I believe this is how nature works in general. And yeah I can’t pursue a feminine men since I’m not so attracted but if it’s a masculine man, it’s his nature to pursue in general what I would think. All these things initial steps and like beginnings of courtship time, not when you’re actually in serious relationships, so other times we can take initiative it’s not a big deal.
