    If I became homeless camping next to 100s of other people on a street sidewalk would be my last choice I’ll take the woods over this depression

    I had a friend who went to college in Orlando. He said during orientation one day tbe campus police came to speak to the freshman about safety on and off campus. You know the typical spill. But He told the freshman class specifically to stay off and away from OBT! (old blossom trail) Especially at night!

    Interesting. 15 years ago I frequently delivered off of Orange Blossom. I enjoyed the drive on account of watching people.
    Homelessness wasn't so obvious.
    Nice cars,and buildings then.
    Thank you.

    Wow! I lived in Orlando from 1989 to 2012 and we never had a homeless population like that. This is also the first time I’m seeing the soccer stadium which I did not know existed. I’m glad I live in Austin Texas now. I would not want to be driving around in the Paramore area of Orlando. We don’t have rundown places like that in Austin.

    • @jeffhunter2553
      @jeffhunter2553 Před rokem +1

      It's Catch 22 isn't it they? The city put out the put up the soccer stadium to make revenue but the homeless people migrate to the places where the peoplewith money are because that's where they can have the most success panhandling. By the way I've lived in Orlando since 67 and I can tell you through personal experience we have had a significant homeless problem since the early 90s.

    • @scotty.1649
      @scotty.1649 Před rokem +1

      Plenty of homeless people in Austin. Plenty of homeless people in Orlando 1989- 2012. It isn't talked about on the news or elsewhere and there's reasons for that. It would be extremely expensive to house the homeless.
