I found this channel on a bad acid trip, helped me thru
obsessed w this
😅🥲😫 love to be of help!
LOLLLLL
Lmao so glad I saw this comment
😂
even after being vegan for years coming back to your channel makes me excited about being vegan and meal planning
Emily don't feel weird putting creamer in your tea! I do everyday! With a little bit of honey or maple syrup. If i dont have creamer I do a oat milk. Makes it very creamy and delicious
i think the coffee experts have scarred me too much in the past idk whats considered normal anymore lmaoo
@@aislingsibeallyons3416 im highly aware of that. Im saying what i do
@@poppetanya very weird that you know it hurts animals and still do it but okay then 🤣
@@violetjade64 girl sorry but talking like this to people isn’t going to make them turn vegan. How about be kind and understanding to others even if they don’t have the same eating habits as you.
@@violetjade64 i honestly dont care. Im not vegan. Nor do i want to be vegan. I make decisions that I personally see fit right for me and for the earth. To survive weve all got to make sacrifices and go through some pain. But in the end hun. We all die. Lmaooo so imma eat what i want to eat and do what i want to do. Thank you very much
For anyone looking for a "soupier" ramen texture, esp if you've added milk, I'd recommend bringing the liquid to a boil before adding the noodles!! But I personally like my noodles "drier" too, and that looks so delicious omg
that's a good tip to know!! i like it both ways just depends on the day i guess lol
The shin ramen especially is soooooo good this way! 🤤
Your fear of getting jelly in the peanut butter is valid and something I think about too lol, so I always do peanut butter first so that way I get peanut butter in the jelly instead of the other way around!
I do the same hah
Why not just do the jelly first and then rinse off the knife then do peanut butter so there’s no mixing at all
Jelly actually can go bad way easier than peanut butter sooo the other way around has more sense
My "getting all the tea leaves to stay inside the mesh" tips : I put less tea this way 1. I can leave the tea leaves in the cup for a long time without it tasting bad 2. my tea package lasts longer. Thank you for coming to my tea talk.
Your timing is incredible! I literally was looking for a vegan "what I eat in a..." video before ending my procrastination on sleep (it's 3 am here) lol love the vid
not my viewers having horrible sleep schedules just like me 🥲
I literally used this video to fall asleep because I told myself I couldn’t delay my sleep any longer lmaoo
It's good to know that it's not just my sleep schedule that is mixed up.
I'm not the only one doing this, i don't know if this make me feel better 😂
i swear to god at the very end when you said "true friend," I thought hannah montana AND THEN YOU SANG IT lolol zillennials unite. also, using the insides of the tomato as dressing is a total chef-y move. tomato seeds are the most flavorful part.
I keep my peanut butter in the pantry and when I make pb&js I spread the pb first and then the jelly. :)
Omg so I am living on my own (I'm 20) and I shop at Aldi often - helps me save money . Could you do more Aldi hauls and meal planning? I struggle with this, especially when purchasing produce. I would love to hear what you come up with!
ive been really wanting to do more budget-themed videos in the upcoming months so for sure stuff like that!! :-)
FYI for anyone: That exact shin ramen in the cup style is NOT vegan friendly.. double check everything lol
I love your energy and videos. They make me feel like we’re friends. We cook the same and have the same mindset on using things up and trying to get our veggies and protein in. I just love it lol thank you for what you do! 💛💛💛
i love the meals you make, they're so interesting and pretty simple too!
Frozen veg is a must.... it's usually on sale somewhere if you have a few grocery stores nearby (and most stores have an online shopping function since the pandemic started, so you can double check their sales). So convenient & lasts forever. You can roast broc and cauliflower from frozen as long as you preheat the baking sheet... and corn/peas/beans all steam perfectly from frozen. Frozen spinach/greens are also the easiest thing to throw in a sauce or soup at the end to bulk it up. :)
The googly eyes on all your appliances always crack me up
I’m newly vegan and I’ve been watching all your videos, they make me so excited about cooking a variety of creative, yummy vegan meals (even getting better at using what I have) and you have a very relaxing vibe :))
There's always something in your videos that makes me lol. Your noods falling off your spoon did it for me this time. Love your dry humor!
Omg yes that Boursin spread is the BEST. My sister and I keep it stocked in the fridge at all times!! It’s incredible spread on Matzo crackers or slices of toasted french bread/sourdough bread! 🤤
I just rediscovered your channel and I’m real happy about it
these videos save me when I'm having bad nights so thank you emily
those nugo bars are actually so addicting i love them so much 😭
i gotta make sure im spreading them out or theyll be gone in a week :0
the nugo slims are the best!
@@mshoneyy I need to try those ones!
That tea mug is so cute. I too live alone and collecting cute mugs is my ~passion~
I keep peanut butter in the pantry, and almond butter in the fridge. But only because the almond butter says to do that on the label lol
I just love your videos! Been watching a long time.
my older sister got me the peppa pig food paint tubes last year as a cute gag gift for my birthday or a holiday (can’t remember 😭) and they were actually SO GOOD. they weren’t just sweet jelly, it was actual fruit purée! and it helped make some sweets more enjoyable for me since I don’t always have the biggest sweet tooth, the fruit purée provided a nice co contrast of acidity to liven up ice cream or cake ahaha. pretty sure I also squirted it onto/into everything possible, even a smoothie ! the pb&j I made with them was also good. if you see these and you wanna buy something fun to make your day, try these !
I don't blame you for the tea with creamer thing, I do the same! Also keep my peanut butter in the pantry
recently found your channel and i love your vids so much!!
I can't explain why, but I love your editing.
love your vibe!
i love oatmeal with dried fruit or trail mix! so good
The cheese spread is great on bagels and toast too with some everything but the bagel on top.
ur sweater looks so cozy
also i LOVE when u upload at this time. it’s like 2:30 am and i’m about to sleep. perfect wind down video ily
I LOVE EMILY 😻
Omg the blue sweater is so cute
okay so happy i watched the whole vid got some nice vocals at the end
hey girlie ! i love this video idea 😳
Those pretzels bars are definitely my favorite too!
Hi! Fellow lentil-eater here! If you need to get rid of some lentils I recommend trying out a “Mujaddara” recipe It’s so good :) (it’s basically a lentil n rice dish)
Totally love Mujaderra. It is soooo good
Ladies & lentil-lovers appreciate this suggestion
Those pretzel bars are legit my fave!
You rock!!!! Thank you for this!!! 🥰🥰
I personally take a spoon to put the tea leaves inside, way less messy !!
Also for the pizza I put the cheese underneath the toppings ;) better looking that way
the snacks look so good 😋
Imagining cucumbers packaged in styrofoam is the funniest thing ive heard all week thank you
Highly recommend using a vegan parm instead of cheez shreds for a pizza. I usually use the Minimalist Baker recipe. Okay thanks good soup!
Lmfaooo I sang with you and could not remember where True Friend was from either. Thanks for sharing your meals!!🤙🏽🔥
You are super talented. Taking notes 📝 tysm for sharing 💓
New vlogger & Fan
I recommend keeping PB and any nuts/seeds in the fridge. I once had a nearly full $10 jar of PB go rancid in my pantry ughhh
I can't drink coffee (heart problems), which is really sad because I LOVE the taste of coffee. After 6 years of being coffee free I recently tried roasted tea.... and OMG is it amazing. It absolutely would support creamer, I like the Brown Sugar OatMilk. I so far have tried Teccciano Vanilla Nut and Hazel Nut, as well as Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma, which I like best.
roasted tea? that sounds interesting!
@@kinersted1222 I just checked it looks amazing lol can't wait to try
HIGHLY recommend adding a handful of frozen peas to your shin ramyen to boost the protein :)
u know i literally meant to do that but forgot until i was ready to eat 😭 lol
@@emlyewng great mindssss
cream in tea is totally normal, the british and irish are known for drinking black tea with cream and sugar. it's a cozy way to drink it!
your ramen looked so good! if I didn't have leftovers to eat, I'd be making some for supper
Buy all the tomatoes! Cube up what you don’t use for slices or when then start to wrinkle, then throw them in soup.
it's so annoying when veggies are packaged with so much plastic!! our bell peppers are like that at a lot of stores. we do have bunches of different types of lettuce without plastic tho if you wanna see if your store has that too! great video as always btw :-)
emily i love you
just absolute, immaculate vibes
love your videos
You just have to eat the peanut butter so fast it can't possibly get moldy! Also, I can't wait to see your Twitch stream!
I have that same mint colored mug!! And I always add soy milk in my black tea!!
Those lentil chips in that flavour are amazing
oh peanut butter in the pantry for sure!!
10:04 definitely would fold that in half to keep everything together, although in the bite you’d get double crust which can be a lot , that is why I eat with bowls to make scooping it up easy and less frustrating💚
Oh good it stayed together, nice 👍🏽
Peanut butter on sourdough is a great snack!
The Hanna Montana at the end brought me back lol
Use the lettuce as a wrap. Also worst case scenario is to freeze it and use it in a soup or stew
Love your approach to cooking and food prep. And agree that eating vegan can easily be "normal" and fuss free.
I wish I can find creamer in my country to put it in my tea so please do it for me, it looks delish !!!
i trust emily and i trust the process
I loved your pizza! I feel like being vegan leads to a lot more creativity in the kitchen.
Hey girlllllll! Have you ever had vegan pho? Its so so soooo good! It had all the same spices as regular pho, but no animals. And it’s like a legit viet food bc of viet buddhist monks!
I love your videos :)
I can’t get over how much the strawberry spread looks like ketchup 😂
alright. i need that peppa pig food paint IMMEDIATELY
I just have to finish the chorus😭 "You pull me aside, When something ain't right, Talk with me now and into the night, 'Til it's alright again"
I leave my peanut butter in the cupboard and have never had a problem lol
"a circle! That's a shape that everyone knows and loves."
So many tasty snacks 😋💚
try making chickpea broccoli bbq pizza with mozzarella cheese (vegan ofc)
Another fantastic video from beautiful, cool and gorgeous Emily. The food is always simple, quick and yummy 😋. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Emily.
It’s the Hanna Montana references for me🤣
that pizza looked gorgeous
HI I HAVE A GOOD TEA RECOMMENDATION, use condensed milk. That's what my dad does and he is a British Arab and has two large cupboards filled to the brim with tea so,,, you can say we he is somewhat of a connoisseur.
Yes! Coconut sweetened condensed milk keeps so so well in the fridge and is my very favorite thing to add to tea.
where did you get that pink sweater its so cuuuute
Hi Emily!🙆
@ 11:03 what lipstick/ lip stain are you wearing? It looks so cute on you!
trust the process.
Omg where are your glasses from/what is the diameter? I loove ;0;
I love those lentil chips! 😱
I could not keep that bag of kettle cooked chips around for more than a few days. Doesn’t matter the size of the bag😭😭 I’m bad with proportion control when it comes to junkie foods ex: faux meats/cheese, chips, crisps
Emily, how do you do it? I admire your self-discipline🥺💗
these comments aren’t super helpful even tho i know you didn’t have bad intentions! she doesn’t have self-discipline & they’re not junk foods - some foods are just more processed than others ❤️
Um, what? Clearly, some people have a better relationship with food than others. I’m knowledgeable on processed foods and ultra processed foods.
this is an old comment but as someone who's struggled a lot with eating i've found it helpful to get rid of assigning morals to food. some food is more nutritious but it's all inherently neutral
having food rules, or telling yourself you can't have a certain food i find only gives food more power over you, and sets you up for binge eating or intense food guilt when you do eat that food. i'm not sure how deep your struggles run but for me i used to think about food 24/7 which isn't normal. food isn't supposed to have that much power over you. food is.. just food.
instead of eating from the package you can portion it out with baggies and put it in bowls. more mindful eating can be helpful, like eating without distractions, or chewing and eating slower, or putting down your fork after each bite. when i eat i check in with myself a lot. am i satisfied? am i full? i feel a lot more in tune with my hunger signals now
27:00 i'm a true friend that knows about the right arrow! haha!
True friend
i looked down for a sec and then i thought u put ketchup on that banana toast😭
I put creamer in my tea lol but in Chai
"i'm showing you my favorite bar while my neighbor's dog barks in the background"
im eating oatmeal with you today :)
I fucking love this comment
I feel so sorry for people who don’t live near farmer’s markets! Nothing comes in plastic, you can get just the amount you need, you can get to know and trust farmers who say it’s organic, and the veggies are super fresh!
i love your sweater! where is it from?
the blue one in the beginning
chickpea pizza?! genius!
pb and almond butter stay out!!
I HAVE THAT THRIFTED TARGET MUG.
I can’t drink coffee because I’m ADHD and it would make me fall asleep so I love drinking tea with creamer.
Friendly farms oat milk isn’t too sweet, tbh I think it’s the best oat milk ever. Their coconut milk is also reallllly good (:
Yaaaaaas! I wish they would change up their almond milk and make it more like Silk. Especially the dark chocolate flavor ❤️
