There is no one source. I used numerous estimates for early period. And censuses for 20th century+ (rarely for 19th and earlier). And estimates for 2050.
For earliest period I need only two estaminitations at the date of creation of some kingdom, and at the date of dissolution to let my software estimate gaps between.

Mianowicie w międzywojniu ci sami matematycy co złamali enigme prognozowali że liczba ludzi w Polsce mogłaby nawet dogonić liczbę Niemiec pod koniec ubiegłego wieku. Jak się sprawdziły dzięki wojnie i komunie i jej upadku wszyscy widzimy.

Very nice, Germanty has barley grown since 1918 though, if they grew at the same rate as maybe Turkey than they would have 200 million+ today but the world wars and communism destroyed them just like russia who couldve had 500 million today. R.I.P
How can Germany grow at the same rate as Turkey? German territory covers 357.022 km2. Turkey has twice as much land (783.562 km2) and yet it is equal to Germany in terms of population.
