Former BIMM student here, stumbled across this video purely by chance after recently joining a local club and looking to join the early morning chain gang sessions - really informative thank you James.
So new to riding that only go out on my own at the moment, it's amazing how fluid it can look.
We have a new "fast Thursdays" group starting this evening with our tri club that going to include some chain gain work. Very much doubt I'll hold on for long but it is great fun!
I couldn't hold the tail during my last race at Leadville. I would do my pulls, rotate to the back, and end up getting ejected off the back. Granted, we were on mountain bikes on pavement sections between trails, but same basic concept. It was quite humbling, but a good learning experience.
Bloody love a chain gang, me...
