@@fanaticat1 Heck yea. I'd fly on over there now if I could for it's fun walking around in festive places. I'm not a fan of drive through light display courses like we have in America for that's not for everyone since we all don't have cars and loads of cash. A walking market is for everyone! Except those bringing in strange flags and signs.

I visited a Medieval Festival while visiting Germany. It was phenomenal! Sword swallowers and Celtic drums were in attendance! Fantastic site to see! ❤
Those Celtic drums were spectacular!!! I thought Native drums were loud but that…totally magical…Thalichtenburg Castle, outside Baumholder, Germany 🇩🇪. ❤️🔥

Very nice, even if not historically accurate. Silent Night was written in 1818, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing was written in 1739, and Away in a Manger was written in the early 1880s, not exactly the medieval times. I didn't check the other songs, but these three I knew were not from the medieval period.
its so funny to me that these "medieval" songs are all the ones I usually sing with my mom and sisters on christmas, guess we really are historically accurate christians :DDD

45:03 - We Three Kings - Love that version of it! It has a nice tempo and the violin sound makes it sound so genuine and upbeat. Like you're actually crossing the desert on your camel headed to the most historic event in your lifetime. Most version of the the Three Kings I see online are so slow and dreary it sounds more like a funeral progression.
I imagine myself warming by the fire as the bard entertains us, as we await Christmas. Good stuff!
