You gotta let the new students or anyone wanting to get into any program know that you have to be sponsored by a Dealership to get into a program. Which means you have to be hired by a Dealership to start a program and a service manager has to approve of you going into the program. So that’s one thing that colleges don’t really tell anyone. New students will just see this really cool programs and instructors or advisors will sell you all the info on paid internship and how badass it is but you gotta go out and do your research and apply and hopefully u get hired
Is there no in between, like from lube tech to tech. I've went from lube tech to tech apprentice to tech at your dealership to skip from going to the cap program
You dont have to go into the cap program or any program for that matter, but the program teaches you what you need to know if you dont know it, plus getting you to level 2 warranty clearance much quicker than if you did it on your own.
