As someone from a Latino family where physical punishment is the norm, I think we need people to stop getting mad at those who frame Mitsuki hitting Katsuki as a bad thing. She may be abusive, she may not, but hitting is slowly becoming an outdated practice with parenting in some parts of the world and that’s a good thing. Things like that can often cause certain levels of trauma in the child. When I was young my parents used similar methods, but soon decided they didn’t want to be like how their parents treated them, and instead use different modes of punishment instead of physical. Now they confiscate technology, regulate us to our rooms, or will not let us have dessert or use the television. My family broke a long cycle of using physical punishment, and though it may be the norm in many cultures, it really shouldn’t, as it’s been known to get out of hand and turn into serious physical abuse.
My parents still hit me and crap 🥲. Lovely right. They give me all of those punishment, and the yell a lot, and yeah they slap but I mean that isn’t abuse so I agree with you on this.
Mitsuki isn't a physical abuser but she is a mental abuser she mentally abuses Katsuki which is more bad tbh it can make a kid do s*cide I would definitely choose s*cide if my mom was like a mental abuser like Mitsuki

Normally, people the big brothers/sisters don't have the authority to hit their siblings no matter if it's a punishment or not (except the parents give it, I don't know your case but that's something we shouldn't do and I said this because I have a little sister. We don't think she hit him because she is an abuser it's just that the moment she told him "it was your fault you were kidnapped, you were too weak" can generate a lot of traumas, plus hitting him isn't the principal option, violence won't solve anything, the kids aren't going to learn to have more values they will just get traumas and do everything you say just because they're terrified, of course that's a good option when you don't have anything else you can do, but it's not the best option or the only way to solve it, there are more pacific ways to solve and raise a child. If you remember the flashback of Midoriya and Bakugo's childhood, he had a quirk, and it showed signs of him developing the quirk in the moment. I know the theory you're saying is a head Canon, but I personally don't find it fitting

Headcanon moment right here. Yk the headcanon about Bakugo having to constantly be mad in order to survive and as to not let his quirk kill him? What if Mitsuki acts the way she does in order for Katsuki to not die from his quirk. That would explain why she’s like that with him. That or she’s just actually a bad mother
Here are a few things against that hc:
1. He would die in his sleep
2. We can clearly see him getting calmer as the series progress, and nothing has happened
3.Unless Bakugou got his quirk from someone, his body is ¨made¨ for the quirk. like Shotos fire doesn't burn him or Mina doesn't burn through her own skin. But people like Midoriya that GOT his quirk can't adapt to it.

Just like Ayoyama, his body can't adapt to his quirk because he wasn't born with it.
Theres your evidence that the theory doesn't make sense at all unless Bakugou wasn't born with his quirk, because their bodies naturally adapt to them
If you remember the flashback of Midoriya and Bakugo's childhood, he had a quirk, and it showed signs of him developing the quirk in the moment. I know the theory you're saying is a head Canon, but I personally don't find it fitting

You've probably seen everyone say this but honestly i feel like you're portraying a bad image of some of the mothers in this series, and its the same with Mitski, she is not a bad mother just misunderstood. Obviously some of the mothers in the video are bad mothers too but a lot of them actually care for their children.
