I also made a Turkey from last fall the other day to free up space in the freezer. One left to go. LOVE your veggie heavy quick and easy meals. We don’t eat much breads/legumes or grains so I love seeing ideas of simple meals that skip those. Especially love meals using eggs! Thank you for sharing such a helpful and beautiful video! You mentioned in another video not knowing what to do with all your tomato’s or cucumbers- try making Greek salad. You seem to have most of the ingredients in your garden 😊

Oh Lisa - I just saw your milking cow and calf video and I know you guys must be excited. I think that Momma cow will definitely calm down once she gets used to your schedule. Thought I'd mention - you might enjoy following Theo & Kira Wadman from Helios Farms in Yoncalla, Oregon. They have a pretty interesting story and Theo has a huge amount of experience in the science world before he started farming organically. Amazing people you should definitely make friends with - I think you would really like them and love them!

I also wish I could buy the meal plan already made into book form. Cooking is an area I struggle in. I mainly struggle with the actual cooking process. My two year old is hard to keep out of trouble. Cooking is just something that is hands on and if you have to step away; like mama’s constantly do, the whole thing can be ruined.

With so many tomatoes have you ever made tomato basil soup? The best ever. I make huge batches at the end of summer and freeze it but this year I’m actually going to can it.

My husband loves chanterelle mushrooms. My husband found so many this year. Unfortunately we were going on vacation the next day so we didn’t have time to process them. We have them to someone else who would enjoy them.

I had to laugh when you said you do quicker, easier meals in summer so you all can be outside. We do, too, but we also don't want to heat up the kitchen and house and ourselves spending hours over a Bolognese sauce from scratch. LOL. We do lots of Mediterranean salads, like a Salade Nicoise. Aren't sweet potatoes one of the wonders of root veggies? I love these recipes, but they all looked so good, I got hungry and had to make breakfast!

More than once I heard her say they have more tomatoes than they know what to do with, so I was thinking, do they usually make or eat tomato jam? It's quite common in Portugal, where I come from, and it's easy to make. Goes well with toast or porridge or yoghurt, just like most jams.
I am aware of tomato jam but I don't think it is very common at least where I live. It might be more common in the southern part of the U.S.

Perhaps I got it wrong but it appeared as you were trying to really slow the pace on this one...if that was the case I'd go back to your usual clip - seemed more conversational and natural in previous videos and we get to the real content sooner:)) Don't fix what wasn't broken!:)

Your can make your own starter by using water and flour. It takes some time to get it going but so worth it! Lots of videos on CZcams on how to get it going naturally!
How many people do the recipes serve in the meal plan?
Is sauerkraut an acquired taste? If so what is a “beginner friendly” recipe? 💙
Just like any food, some people will like it right away, other people will need to warm up to it, and others will never like it. Your best bet is to follow her simple recipe (she has a video here on CZcams), it's just salt and Cabbage. Ferment for the shortest possibly time and then taste taste taste. Many people have success that way, but you may also find you like it more fermented. Don't give up!

If you download it onto your computer, you can then upload it onto the website of whatever your local printer is, then place your order for printing.
