- Hobart City Councillor Louise Elliot has slammed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's silence on the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants.
Ms Elliot’s remarks come as the International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders.
“I can hand on heart say that Mr Albanese is the worst Prime Minister we’ve ever had in my opinion,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I’m prepared to give credit where credit is due regardless of the political stripe.
“But to be honest, it's failure after failure and they're getting more and more morally repugnant, he’s pathetic and I can not wait till the next election.”

I lived in the U.S for a few years. I was working on a home for an older lady and when she heard my accent she exclaimed "You're an Australian! Your country helped us Jews in the second world war. We will never forget and always be greatful!" She treated me so well always invited me inside for lunch and welcoming me into her home. My grandparents generation were amazing people and I can not believe our current pm and government's reluctance to stand on the right side of history. It is beyond depressing.

I have voted Labor (Keating and Rudd) and Liberal (Howard). I can't say that I approved of all their actions but I felt that, at the time, their good qualities outweighed their bad. I go where the good governance goes. I voted for Liberal in last election but wasn't upset when Albinese was elected. A friend of mine knows Albinese and described him as "nice person". Unfortunately, under Labour, the country has gone backwards and Albinese seems lost at see. I will not be voting for Albinese at the next election. I don't think Dutton is perfect, by any means but i doubt if he would prove to be as ineffectual as Albinese.
PS, i suspect there are many up and coming politicians who are much better than Dutton but sometimes excellence is not enough. The politician HAS to be experienced and worldly. (Naivety can be even worse than incompetence and malfeasance.)
