🔴 Summary: In this made for TV film, an enormous and angry bigfoot creature begins to terrorize a Colorado Ski Resort during a winter carnival, by eating several skiers. This is actually a pretty damn good movie. The Yeti / Snowbeast looks great. Better than most bigfoot type movies today imo.

This was a GREAT movie from 1977. I remember it well; they don't make movies like this really anymore, this movie was scary even though you did'nt see the " Big Foot " that well. Makes you think what is REALLY out in those Big Woods/Forests.

The scene where the snowbeast attacks the town hall during the snow queen ceremony was written in to replace a previously scripted and filmed attack scene that was deemed too violent to be aired on television.
What was the ‘violent’ scene?

Towards the end, so many mistakes made...
When trapped in the Haybarn, there was hay and straw, surely there would have been a fork somewhere with which you can defend yourself?
Why use a camper? Who put it there (since they also had the Ski-doos.)
Where did the ski-doo go after they have stayed overnight? 4 people, in that small camper? Would have been better off in that haybarn...
When the wood came down, nobody thought to grab a rifle or warn the other guy in the camper?

I watched a little more than half the movie when the stupidity overwhelmed me. I know it was just movie, but there is only so much that I can put-up with, and that was it!

People can say what they want like my old man you should tell us when we were kids if you knew what was out there in the dark you wouldn’t stick your head out the door that being said in 2011 I’ll never ever forget what I saw on interstate 840 miles west of Yuma Arizona a werewolf creature on the side of the road about 6 to 7 feet tall built like the incredible hawk but that wasn’t the thing that started me more than what it was wearing like a basketball outfit and I’ll never ever forget it for those to think that I’m full of shit beware when you out there in the desert at night because you’re never know what’s out there and that thing waiting for me on the side of the road in my high beams lit it up like a Christmas tree and we made iContact and this smiled at me and showed me his fangs it wanted me to see it
