Grommash managed to slip through Mannoroth's defenses and land a killing blow, which also costed him his life due to the explosion. Its not plot armor, its good writing. Even the most powerful creature has a weak spot that can be manipulated, when they become arrogant and underestimate the opponent. Hell even broxigar landed a critical blow on Sargeras that more or less allowed the Elves to win the War of the ancients.
That's because the armor type (the options to determine a hitsound) being used is "stone" in the editor; implying that in the universe a pit lord skin/hide is hard as rock.
I really want to see these without vampiric. As long as they have life style its never a contest against melee creatures, they will never keep up with the life steal. Only against super mass range is it even a contest.

It's quite amazing that an old game such as this has an engine i suppose that can handle 1000 units.. If only games today were crafted of such quality, fucktards invest more money in the damn marketing than the production of the game itself, we are doomed well.. at least gaming is.
Cenarius has regular KOTG spells. Archimonde summons multiple infernos (chaos atk), demon portal (doom, hellhounds etc, all chaos) and bash. Not to mention he is spell immune so Cenarius has no chance. In fact I think with spell it would take at least 3 Cenarius to take on one Archimonde.
Vampyric arua gives 50% lifesteal to melee at level 3. Note that although it stacks with critical hit it does not stack with cleave. I do think cleave has another attack type than hero however so cleave deals extra damage on its own.
