Hi Oli.. I remember your using guache a few months ago on a Hanna girl .. I bought the one you recommend here and love it.. so easy to just pop it open.. take a tiny bit on a tiny brush and Voila.. it's like I'm a plastic surgeon... I can remove facial jewelry, nose bumps and now that I've seen how gorgeous your skull pic looks, I want to go back and remove every black line !! I am so happy I found this video. I hate Posca pens and never thought to use these other mediums. I will experiment with both the gouache and acrylic.
Thank you very much for this very helpful tutorial! So ... Gouache it is. I have found it quite impossible to cover acrylic and Posca when working with very light colors like deco yellow or deco pink because they are so glossy and won't take the color. Especially these light areas in a picture look much better without black outlines. How do you do very light areas?
Please do a tutorial on how you achieved those flowers
Such a great tutorial Olivier, it's so hard toi found the great supplies to cover these black outlines and gave a realistic look to the pictures, well i'm so Glad you REUPLOAD this video because it's very Helpful for me the Gouache paint is the best what i do is i leave it all night and keep going the touch up colors the nest day that way i never seen any scratch lines on my Design's look more like and oil Painting which i really love to me this is the key to gave an Adult coloring insthead of Childrens coloring books if i could say, but i never try the Winsor & Newton Gouache, and has i really love this Brand who ddin't coast lots of money i will be able to save my expensive Gouache Paint Paul Rubbens & Golden Gouache & Acrylic Paints. I have try the Ink, Drawing Inks by Winsor & Newton & another Brand with a Calligraph pen and i could say for the tiny lines that worked very well but has i never had any problems with adding the color after i think for some great quality Paper is my favorite medium to use. Thank You so much for your great infos and as usual it was Joyable to watch and i will watch your Flowers tutorials because the ones you have color are Stunning Olivier, sorry to long comment again LOL!
Never stop commenting. I really love reading your comments :) I love winsor and newton btw. The paint is high quality and affordable since I only use a little bit of paint every time. It takes ages to finish one tube!
@@OlivierOdorant Oh! you really had a great Quality of Paint with winsor & Newton i do oil Painting & Gouache, Acrylic Paint on canvases so that's why i go on very hight quality Brands like Golden's & Paul Rubbens for the irridescent ones which i really love the vivid colors and the look of Glittery effect! Thank You itt's very kind from you to tell me to continue leaving comments even if they always to long LOL! I try hard to do some short ones but never worked because so many things to say when whe love the subjects and really like the work of the colorist you watch their tutorials anyway i will comment because i really love the way you do your fantastic tutorials, learn so much from you it's Highly appreciated it Olibier xx

I just got into colouring books and I'm trying to learn as many techniques as I can: your videos are always very well made and interesting. I think I will try with the Posca since it's the only white medium among those you showed that I have at home.
But I have a question: wouldn't it have been easier to cover the black lines before colouring?
From what I remember about paints from my middle school art classes, the paint needs to be absorbed into the paper to really cover something and stick to the page and it will also be easier to re-draw the lines with colors; also, covering the lines before working should also make you avoiding to retouch the images.
Posca pen is not really the same as paint. You can try to apply it down forst but when you color with the pencils on top, you will find the paint get scratch off and the colors will not be bright

What is water color? From your video, it can be seen that it is the worst for painting black lines. And the flowers turned out very beautiful)))
Watercolour is a type of paint. You can find it at your local art store or even buy online. There are many different brands out there 😊

Thanks for sharing I bought Windsor and newton white ink but that didn't work I will try gouache and acrylic paint to cover the black lines I don't like posca or uni ball
