There needs to be more exposure of this album. Where are the reviews? Where are the list? This is the best album I've heard on the NWOTHM channel ever! Sound, Mix, Content, Musicianship,,,,WHERE'S THE PRAISE!!
It's not an album that snatches your testicles off and juggles 'em like a circus bear.
It's metal, for one, meaning it's niche, as much as we metal-heads would like to think we're average.
Secondly, the music is good, and it's catchy, and it's atmospheric. . . but in all these things it is also subtle.
People who want extreme metal will be uninterested in its cleanliness; people into power metal will be bored by its discreteness; progressive metal fans will be offended by its simplicity; and traditional metalheads will find its thoughtful pace to be listless.
It's good music, don't doubt that for a moment, but you gotta give it a chance, and with such a small relative number of metal listeners, so many of whom are divided among a dozen sub-genres, and with furthermore such a great wealth of options from which to choose, well. . . what is there to convince anyone to give it the potentially numerous spins that might be required to begin appreciating this album's quality? Upon whose word will anyone hunker down on his haunches and bow his head and, with nothing else to distract or amuse, allow himself to be washed in Black Soul Horde's worthy but recondite offering?
That, I think, is why there is so little, or little apparent, accolade.
Another excellent Greek band with its own style, great influences from Judas Priest, Angel Witch and Omen.
I wasn't expecting such a good voice.. It reminds me of Lizzy Borden

I was excited from the opening instant, but was expecting a high probability of cringey vocals/lyrics (as is often the case with this general style). Thankfully, that was NOT the case, and even better, everything is pretty much equally on par quality wise. A truly excellent sound!

Cuando uno empieza a escuchar un álbum por primer vez y de repente se paso el tiempo volando, el album terminó y uno queda con ganas de escuchar más ¡es por que el álbum es excelente.! ... Eso me acaba de pasar. Me gusta que no es gutural, solo en partes y aun así es claro lo que cantan. El ritmo, el sonido, etc todo se junta muy bien 👌🏽🤘🏽

Pretty decent. Vocals have a nice touch, still could use more improvement & range. Troops of the Damned is a nice example of vocal range and movement. Otherwise this is fuckin awesome.

Now, this album has a great classic start... both in the cover and the incipit of the first track. Then it turns so-so.... speed-rhythm is overheard, riffing has its moments, but singing is pretty flat throughout... without highlights.
This isn't thrash, it's butt-rock.
