I really like this version of his own hit, at the time with the Tubeway army it was another proposition, I like both, but here there is a tension that I find very interesting!

Got to add, I agree as to the intensity of the contrast between heavy and stark piano. Gary's def find a harder, more confident sound over the years, but retained his originality. Matured, progressed... Quite wonderful really ❤
My favorite version, hands down. The original comes in second, and I almost wore out the vinyl on that one.
