Lady Madonna | The Beatles | Playthrough

Lady Madonna was the Beatles first single of 1968, It's bluesy style piano intro was lifted almost directly from Humphrey Lyttleton's 50's Jazz classic 'Bad Penny Blues'
The riff is fun to play and worth the effort to get it right. On the Jools Holland show, Paul McCartney once corrected Jools on a few of the notes.

It took me 3 weeks to learn this all the way through without any mistakes.
It's an articulate exercise, and impressive to others when you finally nail it.
*THIS* is why McCartney is a Genius.
Nobody was doing this kind of stuff
in the Mid/Late 60's.
"Lady Madonna" is a *perfectly written* song, through and through.

Great playthrough.. I play guitar and can learn quickly by watching the chord hand. However, the piano is coming very slowly to me. I have a nice Roland workstation with ivory feel weighted keys, that I practice with. On the guitar once I know a song about ten of my own songs begin to birth though the new riffs I learned. Thank you :)

You cannot play everything with only 61 keys, you should always go for the 88 version if possible :)
